Jesus, First Vegetarian? Whole foods, no preservatives

I don't know what we really know about how long people lived back then, but Christians believe in The Bible and certainly many lived to be well over a hundred and even two hundred.
So food couldn't have had preservatives in them. What about milk. How was it taken, if at all? Wine was a beverage used, but probably, water was the regular. They ate a lot of fish and beans. So do we model after Jesus, after all He rose again. Now that's good health.

Just a note about Easter. I listened to the 700 club today and Pat Robertson explained the myth of Easter having to do with stuff I can't even remember but eons ago some clan of people believed in bunnies having to do with long health relating to people and Spring. I wish I could be more clear about this. Anyway through the years two lands fought over Spring, health and bunnies, and Pat Robertson honestly said, I don't know how they came about with the word Easter, but this bunny thing and the fact that Jesus died and rose again, all happened close to the same time as in Spring,  not years.
    Something to think about.
P.S. What if you don't believe in Jesus? Eat well anyway. Life is short.
