P.S.

Hello America, wait don't go :)   I know many of us get fed up with feeling pushed to buy this and that. I am only asking you to use your conscience. As I read on ALL American Clothing, "We die for our country, but will we buy for our country"?

So yes, I am asking to buy at least one product this year during the holidays that is American made. I know it's hard because I shop too. Groceries, I try to use the outside isles, clothes, I look at the tags, home appliances, I ask and so on.
My bags and what ever else I offer that is hand made are made well with me in mind as if I am buying it, is it good enough, strong enough and made well. An honest answer is, a definite yes and my prices are very fair.

Thanks

Willing to BUY for America? Willing to Die for America

That's the gist of a slogan on "all American Products" We are willing to die for America but are we willing to Buy for America. The all American Clothing company offers an on line video for 4.99 and it's about 93 minutes to watch. I didn't see right away that it was on line for 4.99 and was going to buy about four. Off line it's about 25.00 Now that's All American. So no I don't think too many are willing to buy an ALL American video for that kind of money.

But we should be willing to buy more and more American made products, a reason our country is going down the toilet. We love so many products with labels, but what about our label AMERICAN MADE ! ??? LLBean ? Not made here. They may have one or two products made in America but mostly overseas.

Please research before you shop. Look on line to see where you can buy American products. That is going to be my number one goal anytime I go shopping and I hate shopping. Look at our farm products and freezer products. Do you know how much comes from Japan. WAKE UP AMERICA before you find yourself sleeping on the floor with a straw mat!

Retention for Judge Max Baer ? Sexual offender case

OH this is freaking huge. I don't understand the retention thing except is appear judge Baer wants to stay on in his 199.000 year career.
Listening to him and his causes made me think-this guy should stay, but then I checked him out. He has to go and here's why. First look him up yourself and decide once you read how he determined a sexual offender foster father. WTF !
How did that person ever pass a background check to be involved in foster care in the first place. FIRE ALL INVOLVED !
The child in the home was already molested before in a previous foster home and at the time the case came in front of Max Baer-not the actor(yet maybe) before anyone else decided to remove the child BAER decided it was in the best interest of the child to remain where she was-with a pedophile who committed sodomy on a child. WTF ? Why wasn't he fired then ?
We wonder why so many kids rage and that's not to excuse those who really bring things on themselves, but cases like this...I hope someone teaches that kid about lawyers.

Autism-The Amazing Kids Club-Do You Have One ?

I live not far from a place called The Amazing Kids Club. It's a place for kids, ages up to twenty or twenty -two to come to who have some form of autism. They must however be diagnosed with PDD to get in, at least here with this particular club. If they do not have that diagnosis, a doctor once explained to, will usually make it so.
In this club there are also many parents involved and they call themselves FOAK, Friends of Amazing Kids. Whatever you need to know, they can tell you or find out weather it be concerned about devices, insurance, therapy and making friends as well as being so supportive of one another. The guy who leads this group last time I went there was a vet and beside his twin sons who are autistic, this man is patient, stern, strong, smart and aware of what parents face as much as what is ahead for these kids.
This club is in Hanover Pennsylvania. I've looked them up to see where others are available as I wanted one closer to home-don't we all. Hanover was the best choice and so I am glad to have had some time with them, learned about the club, the people who work there and the kids. They have an after school program as well as after school.
This club offers computers, am inside trampoline, a room with crafts,a touch room and so much more. Summertime arrives and kids get to go out to parks, an ice cream day etc. They also learn life skills at the club.
If you don't have one where you live, get some people together, get grants and start one. You won't be sorry

Go LOZO Again-U Do Save Money

I just have to say this again but better. Yesterday I get my lozo coupons and thought, well since I'm starting plant based I don't need coupons. YES I DO!!!!
I still use certain hygiene products, bath products, some progresso and Campbell soups and with a kid in the house I buy some junk treat cereals, but that's rare.
Then I see, special K, Cheerios,Greek Yoplait Yogurt, Jenni O turkey bacon-as a treat-haven't had bacon in the house in over ten years, total cereal, my favorite progresso soups, detergent, hand towels-don't use, but this gives you an idea to check out lozo.com. Aww go ahead, it won't kill ya, ya know to just look.

Joel Osteen's STORY today, not original

Switching channels I came upon Joel Osteen and seemed more to focus on his well done hair, good looks and his eyes. I watch his eyes a lot for sincerity yet we know that isn't always a sign of, whatever it is we look for.
Suddenly a story caught my full attention. This story has been around a while but Mr. Osteen made it current and put a different spin on it so hearing that, with me anyway made me wonder, is this the only thing he puts a spin on. It was The famous McDonald Story where a mom who claimed to be Christian didn't want her young son paying attention to a person who appeared to be homeless and the boy wanted his mom to buy the man a breakfast.
In Joel's story he made this about a baby who ends up in the mans arms reaching for him as the woman was paying. Now we all know you pay when you order, to start with and who in the world is going to let, allow her baby to go into the arms of a stranger? Good try Joel...people are watching, cynical people and some who just want to watch and listen, but will listen no more because of stories like this.
This article won't make one difference to those who love Joel Osteen or Osteen himself and that isn't my purpose. I am just listening, observing. Think I'll stick to Dr. Stanley and a local minister for truth, no dramatics and sincerity. Osteen is so wealthy he doesn't need another sinner.

Robert Hall, CSI Not Silent Anymore

Well written, take a couple of minutes and see what a very sensible man has to say. by the by, he is also on the tv show CSI. Not Racist, Not Violent...Just not Silent anymore.
Robert A. Hall is a Marine Vietnam veteran who served five terms in the Massachusetts State Senate.

There is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on!
                                                      PART ONE
Every day I will add a paragraph of this wonderful letter/e-mail and hope it makes a difference
I'm 63. Except for one semester in college when jobs were scarce and a six-month period when I was between jobs, but job-hunting every day, I've worked hard since I was 18. Despite some health challenges, I still put in 50-hour weeks, and haven't called in sick in seven or eight years. I make a good salary, but I didn't inherit my job or my income, and I worked to get where I am. Given the economy, there's no retirement in sight, and I'm tired. Very tired.

Make a Life Right For You-do NOT Quit

Have you felt like just quitting ? Quitting everything and everyone ? Well I did some years ago, but I only gave up what was unhealthy for me, which was some people. That in itself made me healthier. Today I am reminded that I need to go further, but I don't want to quit things. I only want to make it better, do it better. I never quit and hate quitting.
I get so frustrated that I have a web site and don't sell, but I keep trying new things, new colors, sizes, phrases, and even lower prices a lot ! But I don't and won't quit.

This morning on Sunday Morning TV I was reminded about Making your life right for you. I don't know you or what it will take to make you happy and have a happy life, but don't quit, just, well not just, but keep looking, trying, walking , seeking and searching.
What is keeping you stick? Money, a person, home and you're afraid to take that next challenging step. Look at this...have you known a young person who is or has died? If they had more time how would they live, change things if they knew they were dying? What if you were dying ? You would find a way to take that trip, tell someone what you felt you couldn't before, do a crazy dance and yes, I know you wouldn't move because we need to be close to those we love at that time-just don't quit and settle into a life you are miserable in !
     Keep walking ahead. doozybags.com

By The way...my web site will be remade by a person who helps in Tmebanking. She has offered to do this for free. Can you imagine? This is Time Banking. Look it up and pitch in, help, serve and become part of a community and receive.
Have a new Day :)

Snoringcat on Etsy.com..worth a look

The past month I've come to know a bit about the young woman who has a shop on Etsy.com
Her name is Ann Marie and we chatted back and forth a  few times about each others likes and dislikes. It felt as if I had along distance pen pal. I won't tell you about Ann Marie as that would be up to her, but she is a mom and trying her best to just make a little extra. She doesn't ask for anything above what something may be worth.
This is a small shop and I ordered the package of a thousand butterflies with a specific craft in mind for kids. At first I thought to do a painting and insert butterflies all over tree tops, in trees, around bushes and more. But I also thought to donate half to a local school as they are so unique. Again I held onto them and brought them to a visit today to see a little boy.
He loved them, so excited by the colors, all different, some plain, some zany prints, and some black, gold, silver, red, blue and other solid colors. We used construction paper and also used plain card with a Matt border. We glued the border to the card first and let it dry. On the border itself we wrote names of people we loved and who cared about us. You can also do places. It's endless.
Then we layered them with bits of glue all around the inside until it was built up looking like flying butterflies. There were two boys and myself with other kids popping in and out wondering what we were doing. At the end when it was time to leave, I was asked to get more butterflies. I ordered tonight but also ordered guitar picks. This is just so unique, that kids love it.
It takes care of  a few things: An easy craft to do, a creative craft, a sweet gift to give to someone, kids love it and it shows little ones a new way to use and recycle paper and cardboard.

Live Raw by Mimi Kirk, sooo good

Okay I don't get the hands coming together like that, but seems a lot of people are doing it as if they forgot what they were taught, if this is about prayer.
Now to the book. Out of boredom the other day I picked this up off the shelf, never opened it as I was more interested in wood stuff. I took it home anyway with another veggie book I barely glanced at. That one is going back asap.
This morning, I opened Live Raw. This is so well done I am anxious to jump start myself by making smoothies. A few she has on one page just have three and four ingredients, not like so many others who have six, seven and eight. With that I might as well make a great salad.
Live Raw is more than eating raw. It's about your life and what we got away from, how to redo things and I know most of us won't use all of what's in any book, because we are we and unless you move three thousand miles away to some island, it's close to impossible to make as many changes as books suggest.
My plan for today is after visiting a boy who is away to go right to my grocery store by my home, a health food store to jump start fresh foods. I already have nuts, raisins and frozen berries, so all I need is celery, kale and spinach and yes, some apples. This book is on amazon and I did order it. But for now a library copy will work just fine. Try it, you might like it and isn't this great weather to get things in gear. One last thing...my bike will be on the road again soon too.

What's Underneath ?

Underneath what you ask ? Oh you didn't. Well look underneath anything and everyone. Like a book cover, check the inside, read it, listen and stay quiet.
This is probably the shortest I ever wrote. Makes sense ? Look underneath. You never know what's in a box of chocolates.

Soultions to Young Criminals-Farm Them out!

As I'm about to visit a child in a residential setting I started thinking and yes I know...you did, ? oow good for you. Hey, that in itself can be a challenge sometimes. I wondered what we could do as entertainment, getting to know more about each other and consider the weather too. Thinking and driving I see some dust on my dash. Oh yeah baby ! That's the answer. We will clean my car and the boys and I will wax it and talk. This way I can see their endurance and willingness to work. No not for pay, but for that thing we adults used to be able to say, "just because"
Kids need to re-learn how to take direction and listen just because they're told and I'm not talking about listening to strangers. Don't get stupid here.

So let's take a kid first time in trouble in school and yes it needs to be age appropriate, so we'll begin with sixth graders. We get farmers to help. Need helping hands, can't pay much, well here they don't pay at all. It starts without breakfast. Many parents won't like this because they too get punished any time their kids too. Take an FMLA and make any arrangements you need too. Get those kids up or ask the farmer to grab him or her out of bed, into the truck and on the farm. They work, really work for an hour cleaning out stalls, then breakfast, work four hours, then lunch. It can be done, get the picture?

Live in the city ? Have kids wash trash cans, clean graffiti,WAX cars. Since they don't get out enough because of electronics and working parents too tired to get them out, there are other ways. Make them mop halls, wash windows, clean and wax mailboxes, do street cleaning. They will take pride in where they live and themselves or kick their asses !

Come on parents, THINK! If you have to go to court with your son or daughter, talk to the judge about hard work. Make it happen. We are producing generations of lazy, kids who don't care and commit crimes. It's up to us to change things. I do know courts will make kid do community service and maybe a first time that's okay, but if your child continues you have to be a bad ass parent. You want to eat ? You work first ? Oh they're going to call the police on you for not feeding them? Cops will love to come to your home and see you are doing the work and all you need to say is, "he or she can eat, but work is first". Watch them grin, agree with you and leave.

What Causes Autism ?

Kids who are diagnosed with Autism are considered to be on a certain spectrum, such as Aspergers or PDD and more. But what we don't know is a cause and that's not unusual as we don't know what causes many disorders and illnesses. So what can we do to prevent as much as possible and what can we do once a diagnosis is made?
First lets looks at the futures of kids with Autism. Each and every one is different. It depends on a variety of thing. What kind of parents do they have, levels of patience, stay at home mom or dad, insurance and supports. Supports such as family, doctors, therapies, education, outside social interaction and play. Play is so important.
Pre -Plan your pregnancy-take care not to smoke and drink alcohol as well as eating natural as much as you can, plant based foods. It all helps in having healthy babies and we know too, many moms do this and still have a child with birth defects and other illnesses. Check our neighborhood well to see if you are near an old dump site, a water treatment center, anything even close to that. New Jersey has sold homes without revealing what surrounds them only to have people become ill, because of a smell that is making sure people do not open windows and are getting sick. There isn't any law that tells the new home buyer it has to be revealed.
Planning a future for a child with Autism. Have structure and a regimen that you know or feel you know you can stick with from as early an age as possible.
Take care of yourself if you are planning. Buy toys that are sensitive to touch. Play calming music. Do not start with electronics-this is my opinion. As much as you can live a normal life from day one.
Investigate your school supports systems. Here we have what is called The Amazing Kids Club-and it is amazing and they also have FOAK=Friends of Amazing Kids which are families who stick together throughout all kinds of traumas and dramas, needs, babysitting, and so much help you wouldn't believe :)
Use family, friends and church friends as well.  Introduce them from the start so they will never be seen as strangers to a child with autism.
    Food. Food Food
Sleep, Sleep Sleep both are so important for the whole family. Eat as natural as possible, no food colors, no preservatives. The best medicine is Farm Grown and on the table. Shop outside isles more than inside. Use diapers not pampers if you can. Give baby rub downs, lots of love, touchy hugs, continued so they will expect it and not be afraid of it.
DANCE. Put music on and dance so again-they are used to it, happy sounds !
You have to plan now for later. If you wait, so will your child. This is all partly my opinion and partly my experiences. As an added note-God Bless all of those Special education teachers.

Cabela's Glitch ,Medical Tax/excise

Tonight I received an e mail from a trusted friend. However this came from someone etc etc. So looking closer I wasn't sure this was quite right, so I checked as much as possible myself. I went to a Publications link, didn't see the term Medical Devices in the Publication at all. So I called Cabela's main office and was passed from on e person to another. The last person put me on hold while she checked this out.
She came back on explaining it this way. This was a glitch, and people were charged but as soon as we found out we refunded their money and have fixed it. My question is, how does such a glitch happen ? Is it done on purpose to make either Cabela's look bad, or to have Obama & Pelosi look bad. As far as I'm concerned they all look bad, but something like this is just another way of saying, screw you America, we'll tax you anyway we can. That  as I see it  simply comes from the very rich Congress men and women who serve ?
Who are they serving but each other. Imagine buying a fishing pole and being taxed as a medical excise tax ? I guess if you catch a fish hook in the wrong direction like up your ass, you might meed some medical attention, but for sure, not at Cabela's.

Bring Back Spankings & The Electric Chair

I know the bible says, Thou Shalt Not Kill, and so if you're a believer, you/we do not bring back the chair, but we have to change a whole lot of rules such as this CRAPOLA about cruel and unusual punishment concerned with prisoners ! People, they are there to be punished ! Cruel and unusual ? Ask the victims what they were put through by the criminals. Imagine a gun put to your head or your child kidnapped, another raped, yet another with a throat slashed.
We forget too easily about the victims and seem to remember the criminals more because of their bleeding heart lawyers. Throw the F'n Lawyers in jail with them and see how they might rethink what's cruel and what's unusual.
Yes, I know we live in a country where everyone is entitled to a lawyer. So what if we do this. Found guilty without a doubt-DEPORT THEM TO THE WORST COUNTRY WE KNOW OF.
How many kids will continue to kill until something is seriously changed?  Then they usually go to either a psych hospital, or a Juvenile facility until eight, then re-evaluated for possible freedom. So let's start very young. You do wrong mom and dad tries a to talk to you. You continue to do the same thing wrong, you get a spanking and no television. Third time, a real good spanking. Take all or any electronics away for six months. One more time, donate all electronics. By then and really maybe way before the second time, that very young child will change and this BS about letting a kid call the cops and the cops come and say well mom or dad you cannot hit your child. The cop should come and smack him or her over their big mouth. The kid that is and i mom or dad say oh no they didn't mean it-then punch mom and dad in the face for wasting a cops time.
Thank you all and have a peaceful night.

Healthcare dot Shove

I just looked at the face page of Obama's Health Care insurance and what pops out at me is the piece that states MEETS YOUR NEEDS AND FITS YOUR BUDGET.
Someone close to me states that in a, ha ha sarcastic way that, oh yeah it's bad Obama wants health care for everyone. That an opinion that that person sees as fact and due to the fact that a close friend was positively affected by it. But to fit whose budget? I know people who have had their hours cut so the employer no longer pays health care, so now with less hours how the hell do they earn enough to live and pay rent, groceries, medicine, clothes and dental and auto, ins. maintenance, gas and whatever else comes along.
I do think we should all have health care. Listening to the O'reilly factor last night, O'Reilly states we are taking from people who have more to give those who have less to make health care equal across the board. Between his mouth and his guests, I turned it off. We all have opinions and I have to think about Norway at this time. Norway?
Yes. Years ago my mother couldn't afford dental. She went to Norway, paid by other family in Norway but while there she ends up going to a dentist and coming home with a beautiful smile. Yes, she was also still a Norwegian citizen too.
So now either pay what you can't afford, get fined when you don't pay, or go on welfare which is why people work so hard-to avoid welfare, to stop family cycles and not to join those who love and take advantage of being on welfare.
 Good Luck AMERICANS !!!

LOZO-select your personal coupons

This came from a Dr. Oz show I saw about two months ago. I signed up and receive coupons selected to the way of my interests. But I never used them as I try so hard to shop only the outside isles. This morning I get the reminder e mail and decide to take another look.
Aha! I see Progresso soups which I love, Yogurt, cereals of a healthier kind, hygiene products, weight watchers frozen foods (which I never eat) so I thought I'll try one. Then an assortment of hot pockets, perdue chicken, tombstone pizza and so much more. Personally I think the foods  are geared toward a larger family who uses a lot of frozen foods. Dr. OZ had people on to show how much they saved using those coupons at the time.
But they were families with kids at home. Most cereals were the junk food kind, so the doctor is again a bit talking out of both sides of his yapper, and I know, like TV, just don't clip them, turn the channel. We all have a choice.
I would still take a look, see what fits you and I have to say the good thing is you don't have to print one whole page just to get one coupon. Slide your mouse over a coupon and click. At the end the site wants to install a certain something because of bar codes, takes a minute and probably worth it. Oh Pantene shampoos, shaving stuff and laundry detergents too. Take a look, nothing to lose, maybe something to gain.

Electric Toothbrush= Dermabrasion

No, I don't spend all of my time in front of the TV But I do love educational and informational programs, and of course Blue Bloods and NYPD.
Yesterday on The Doctors, a dermatologist was a guest and she showed how you can do your own dermabrasion with an electrical toothbrush, used a one because then the bristles are softened. Dip the bristles in plain alcohol and brush your face. She didn't say if you put a lotion on after. But  she also showed to give yourself a good facial, use plain yogurt and red wine. I just like to share. That brings me to another note.
It's almost Christmas-donate to st. Jude's or local families in your area :)

Barry Weiss & Jack Nicholson

I love Barry Weiss. He a guy on storage wars, but won't be back this coming season, and neither will I. For me it's just that comcast basic is not worth it. I get the majority of TV shows with a plain old antenna.
Back to Barry-Hey that's a good name for his own show. Barry Weiss is not just a good looking man, but so very good looking. He has a Jack Nicholson voice and what seems to be Jacks sense of humor but the difference is, we know Jacks'  sense of humor comes from written scripts. Yet I have heard Jack at an impromptu interview and he does have wit, the funny sarcastic kind.
Barry Weiss appears as I have seen to be funny in all kinds of situations. One time he said , have to take off the white jacket, hey I woke up and spinned the color wheel, don't blame me-That was cute but makes ya smile. Under his white jacket he wore a pink shirt. This guy is just one classy looking man. Then we have his vehicles.
He shows up in all kinds of things, a fancy car, a motorcycle and one time a tank like Jeep. I know he was married one time, but now single. Barry ? Hey Barry ?

OUTSOURCE CONGRESS ! Answer-VOTE

The more I hear about outsourcing and get someone on the phone from another country to handle an American business issue and more jobs continually get outsourced, all with the approval of the President and Congress, I think one answer is the easy answer. Outsource the whole bunch. Maybe another country has our countries' answers-just call 1-800-outsourcecongress. You'll probably get someone in India or Nigeria. Have a nice out-sourced day. Oh By the way, if you need to work, VOTE !  Vote all new people in and show them who is in charge of AMERICAN Jobs. You never know if your job will remain in the US

HIre Americans, not Illegal Immigrants

This was about medical insurance to start with. On a news informational show last night an emergency room showed all kinds of people from one walk of life. Hard working, Americans whose Insurance has been affected by OBAMA DON'T CARE.
One man sitting and waiting was a carpet installer and stated he made 3.25 per square yard to install for the last thirty years and then recently was told by his employer, "A bunch of Mexicans moved in close by and they work cheaper." CRUDE yes, but so wrong as we all know. So what's the answer. It's easy for me to say sitting here to Just hire AMERICANS...but how do you prove who is an immigrant and who isn't?

I'm not too sure except to state that you want it in writing if you even suspect immigrants have been hired instead of an AMERICAN. So what kinds of jobs are we looking at. I am just looking at typical jobs as I know it.
Landscaping-With this you have to be sure, very sure. I knew two brothers in Fresno who are Mexican, born and raised in the US who started their own lawn business at fourteen. I know another friend whose husband is a landscaper and is Spanish, so we can't just say, hey you have to be an immigrant.
Movers and haulers-ask for a license and referrals. We don't want to be a racist society and target someone who "Looks" like an immigrant. We also don't want to only look at the Hispanic community. Check out the Russian's and so many others who are coming into the USA without doing it legal.
    Cleaners/Housekeepers-Nanny's-
     Hotel Staff
Floor Installers
Just be as careful as you can. American born here as well as immigrants who have come in legally should always have presence over anyone else.
That man sitting in a hospital emergency waiting room without insurance because he lost his job to illegal immigrants remains.
Hire someone who knows someone, friend, family, church , neighbor or local store references. Do your homework.

Buy American, Buy Me

Well okay, ya can't buy me, but you can my stuff. You know stuff. The things you see on doozybags.com  I am writing this Monday night, but will post it Saturday or Sunday giving me more time to add stuff, bags, bandanna's and anything else I have time to make or find that someone might like.
Get Ready !   STUFF is Coming.

Jesse Ruggee, Freed, KILLER of 15 yr. Old Nicholas Markowitz

Chino Prison just released and not approved by Governor Brown. What, no power. Jesse Ruggee Killed fifteen year old Nicholas, taking him a hostage as his drug dealing brother was, it appears to be taught a lesson. They took Nicholas, duct taped him, shot and killed and dumped his body in a ravine. Two others were involved. I don't have all of their information.

Chino Prison board of parole let a killer go. That person is engaged. That person Jesse Ruggee is a killer and engaged. So is that woman crazy or one of those groupies who follow murderers? Jesse Ruggee may kill her too. Jesse Ruggee may now have a life, children, a future, watch his own kids grow up, graduate, have kid and grand kids. Jesse Ruggee has now lived twice as long as Nicholas Markowitz. His mother Susan now without her son has to worry about a killer. What is Chino Prison doing?
IS this about overcrowding or is someone on the parole board getting paid? This is what California needs, another KILLER on the loose, Jesse Ruggee.
Chino prison should think before they let a killer out. Hey Parole Board ! What if this was your child?

RSD ? You really Can't Imagine Unless..

I am about to go out and as I'm getting ready, with the TV on, The Doctors show is announcing RSD and showing a young woman whose foot has ballooned four times its' size. She had an injury. Someone stepped backwards on her foot and  a few days later that small injury showed an infestation of infection of some kind.
She wasn't about to know what it was exactly until it diagnosed. This foot and leg were red, purple, pink and looks like her skin will explode at any moment. Her pain is somewhat handled by a pump tube in her stomach, giving her what she needs, yet doesn't help very much.
We can imagine pain when we see it, such as with this young woman who has RSD. But what about what we can't see ? Just think about that. Right now it was presented to this woman by a Military doctor that they see this in people who are wounded, RSD is fairly common as wounds that don't heal, like Kathy's on the Doctors, The answer is a series of using a hyperbolic ( baric ?) chamber, a psychologist, FOOD, Food, FOOD and PRAYER ! It isn't a complete cure, but sometimes it is for many things.
One thing was noticed in Kathy interview. She ate a lot of processed foods throughout the day which has a load of salt, causing water/fluid retention. Holistic approaches is a way to go and use what we know and have available to us. Faith, Hope, knowledge, medical knowledge and support systems. Put them all together and they spell Peace.
A last note about Food. Jsut my won experience . About a year and a half ago, I went plant based, still had meats, but not as often. My whole life felt better. The swelling in my feet went down as I was a big carb eater,  frozen pizza's and all that water retention foods, but changing my eating habits, changed me without realizing what was happening. Give it a try :)

Collect Calls in Heaven ?

Wouldn't that be great ? Imagine getting a collect call from someone you know who made it ? Made it to heaven that is...not Hell.  But maybe we do, and just don't realize it. In our every day actions, choices, walks of life, how we handle money and people, what we prioritize could be those collect calls as in our conscience.
Then what about the dreams we have ? Some are so freakin' real, we just have to know a message is being sent, but by whom ? Is it God ? To be honest here, I just heard that expression on TV-Dog The Bounty Hunter. Yeah, I watch it sometimes, but cable is going. I haven't seen anything on cable that attracts me to keep it other than distract me from LIVING!
I'd rather work on my web site Doozybags.com and continue to make more things that people like. Animal neck wear coming soon.

Now the next time you do get a collect call...answer it. You never know

Victims ? of Poor Choices

That is a statement made by a young college man? boy who was charged with College rape and of course as it happens most times alcohol was involved. There isn't any sense in going into anymore details. This is just to keep it  public that kids who are new to college and those parties, go with and stay with a friend. Also for a first party make sure not to drink. In that way you can better judge about what really goes on, then maybe you won't be back. If you do and you feel you just have to drink, limit it to two. Have a friend who wants to stay and drink more? Then be  a friend and stay by her side all night. Don't let a guy or  a few guys take her into a room and lock you out. If that happens, call the police. BE a real friend. Don't become a real victim. Stay sober, stay intact, stay away.
One last reminder. VIDEOS ...once they are posted, they don't go away.
Boys this will ruin your lives too.

Connection Scanning Mistakes

Recently I hooked up cable. I've been using only old ladies cheap dial up connection so now I'm hot, love the speed, have loads of writings to organize. But I needed to download a driver to use the scan part of my printer. It wouldn't download before as it took about two months-ha! So wham, new speed, new driver, but as I near the end the site asked me what kind of connection I was using and gave terms I was not at all familiar with and chose wireless.
Lo and behold my printer stopped working altogether. I searched how do I undo this,  and too many answers which of course I understood none. So today a friend was over and we were chatting about simple things and things that are complicated. Within that I tell him, when it's more complicated, usually I can take care of it and the answer ends up to be simple.
Remembering that chat, I went in and pulled the printer plug from the printer and then from the computer and plugged them right back in again That was it. In and out and my printer, scanner etc is working. Yeah baby! So nice when you can do it yourself !

The Secret Sauce

The Secret Sauce

The day goes up and the night goes down
Life keeps going round and round
Good days we have and bad we hold
but what we need is a pot of gold.

What's in the pot is to be found
all kinds of spices from every town
teachers and preachers, add to the mix
of the secret sauce, a bag of tricks.

Kids live a life that no one knows
in and outs keeping on our toes
good days they have  and hopes arise
but then explosions, a saucy surprise.

So we all pitch in and then we see
how we can work it through tastefully
a pinch of this, with a smile of that
The Secret Sauce, I tip my hat !

Thank you Ms. H.

New Clothes for Unknown Kids 4 Right NOW

My daughter reminded me of scams on Cl the other day and while I know she's right, sometimes we just have to go with a feeling. As the weather changes think about your own kids, how you want them to be safe, warm, happy and not go hungry;ever , no matter how old they are. So what if this year, right now, you go shopping for the children you don't know.
I always think it's better to call a church, but if you're a person who thinks the church will take care of them-well not always. But instead of that ask at a few schools. They really know and are not partial-usually. However there is the confidentiality factor, so ask them to make a list for one child, male or female, and sizes. They'll probably have to get permission form parents or a parent.
Again as the weather changes people need extra help for heating, groceries. I think many of us have been there one time or another. So slip in a grocery gift card, a gas for their car gift card and even movie gift cards. A little fun would be nice too-NOW ! Don't wait !
Doozybags.com PS-you can put them in one of these bags. Anything earned from this site will at this time earn more to do what I have written about.

BUY AMERICAN FLAG STAMPS ONLY

JUST FYI AND SHARING !
Don't buy this stamp! It is pretty, but keep reading!
I don't know why this pic won't show-hey maybe a sign why you should NOT buy it. This almost  looks like a pinwheel ,pretty colors in a circle or LSD (not that I would know personally) but this stamp is to celebrate an EID MUSLIM HOLIDAY, a second one which Obama is endorsing via the AMERICAN POSTAL SERVICE.

Many people buy stamps thinking, oh that's so cute, including myself. I won't say which one I bought but once I learned more about it-I was buying to support a cause I wouldn't have if I knew.  SO to be on the best side, THE AMERICAN SIDE-----stick to buying American flag stamps only.
If you want some other pretty stamp on it, go to a craft store and buy stickers :) Have a great American day of FREEDOM !

Special Ed. Teachers need Bonus Days OFF !!!

Everyone, please understand this. Our schools have become more and more like personal care settings in many ways. I have watched over the years generations of kids in trouble or at risk as it's now called, end up going to alternative education schools. These are usually kids who just think it's okay to do what they want to do without any regard for anyone else. They come from all kinds of homes which makes it difficult to pinpoint the whys. Why is this kid acting like he's owed all of the special treatment? In my opinion, it's due to societal changes, such as two parents working, no more spankings, electronics and entitlements. In addition to all of that is the blame game.
Kids blame others for what they have done because they hear adults do the same, so the thought pattern is learned. Finally kids don't get out often enough to play, parks, zoos, gyms, throw a ball around, climb trees and interact with their own parents.

NOW MY BIGGIE and maybe I should have started this way and sorry for that. I easily get off track.
Lets talk a little about children who need SPECIAL EDUCATION SERVICES. Those are children who have a wide range of mental heath issues as well as mental health combined with mental retardation and in some situations physical limitations.
Here is what Special Ed . Teachers put up with every school day from many of these children of all ages. We'll start with personal care issues: Body Odor, hygiene such as not brushing teeth, clean hands, rather unclean, same dirty clothes which smell-and that usually happens because the child's issues are so deep mentally it's too hard for mom and dad to argue with every single morning, so the teacher gets to put up with it.
Education : Homework, Writing down the assignment itself or not doing that, forgetting an agenda, forgetting books, papers, refusing to do it, stating I forgot all the time, simply stating I don't have to, stating because I want to, throwing items in class, kids who cry, have bathroom accidents, outbursts on any given day at any time which disrupts kids who are trying so hard to do what's needed, kids who  individually learn on different levels-all in one classroom.
Putting it all together : Meetings to start with, during and on going, e-mails to parents, phone calls to make schedules work and the paperwork? Many children have an Individualized Education Plan, but while that sounds simple, it take a few teachers and more to put it all together. Sometimes it involves the school psychologist and other emotional support professionals. Then another meeting when that child decides to erupt again. Questions such as , what can we do to improve things for this child. Is another eval needed? They do what it takes to make kids feel as average as possible.
These Special Ed teachers put up with a lot more than an average teacher and this is not to take away from them, but why do you think we don't have more Special Ed teachers? Because it's not made for everyone and as people are deciding careers and think they want to work in Special education, well first they have to do internships. Then they find out,-uh oh. Maybe I'll stick to traditional teaching.
In my opinion Special Ed teachers should all have bonus days off and be paid for such. I personally know two such people and I'm sure there are many more who care as deeply. A bonus day happens when it is repeatedly shown that this is a successful teacher and who decides that? I think the school with inputs from parents. If the school refuses, with proof, parents can over ride. I guess I am partial to this because I have seen different operating systems in different schools. I know I may not be right in the how to's, but BONUS DAYS for those great teacher should happen at least once a month.

JERKOFFs' in WASHINGTON -COME ON TRUCKERS

"We Americans are so tired of being thought of as dumb asses by the rest of the world that we went to the polls this past November and removed all doubt."

He, Clint Eastwood , also stated something in reference about, a pen in the hand of Obama is worse than 200 million Americans with guns. Those with legal guns that is.

I read that truckers were supposed to get together and clog up Washington- hasn't happened yet. PLEASE DO SO !!!
If anyone and everyone can have marches, why not Truckers and all of the people who are being affected by the JERK-offs in Washington
There are many who Praise OBAMA don't cares plan, but middle AMERICA, those who make barely enough to live on, now have to buy their own medical insurance and are told to apply for welfare medical because  now due to OBAMA Don't Care many companies have dropped insurance, dropped hours and workers have to buy ins. SO people who have pride in working, are now told to go to welfare for insurance !!!

Ron Myrnes- Does it AGAIN and Again-York PA.

Do you have any idea what's it's like to not only have an extra right hand, but an extra left hand too ? I haven't ever met another person who does what he does. His prices are always fair and reasonable and he does what he says, sometimes more. Ron makes things affordable. When you can't afford it, he might say, make a list or you can ask him, can I make a list. Sure, Sure, he'll tell you.
That means you take a look at what you can afford and when. I would use up all my space here telling you how this man has made my home nicer, better, improved, inside and out-as I can afford it. Ron offers suggestions, will make a sketch and give an estimate. If ever, he has to go above the estimate he will explain in detail and not a problem if it isn't affordable. He'll help you do something different if possible.
887-4219 in York PA. is the number to contact Ron-if he has time and hey, I'm first :)
I am overwhelmed at his kindnesses. With the exception of one neighbor, Mr. W.  and his family,You know who you are; those two guys have remarkable integrity. I mention Mr. W. as I worry about peoples feelings-but I never forget.
Anyway Ron Myrnes is honorable. I have had contractors come to the house, give me prices on different things and yes I understand business, but not being greedy. That is never a concern with Ron. We talk, discuss and work out how it can be done for an affordable price. Here's my suggestion: If you want an estimate, give him a call. Not affordable right now ? He may give you another way to do things as he has here. I may never want to leave my home when he is finished. Okay I know I'm babbling, but in conclusion :) sorry, no politics here-we all know that doesn't work-just plain human decency does work and I think thats all we all want. So give him a call, 887-4219

Satisfied ?

This should be enough to tell anyone who deeply cares about our country to fire those in government during the next election. Elect new and hopefully honest, with integrity and caring people like you need in government. If they do it too as in corruption and empty promises, Fire them too, until our leaders get the message. Finally something may happen because of truckers closing down Washington streets !!! See, hit THEM where it hurts and action begins.

How Do You Help Someone Let Go ?

I'm sure we all know someone who has died, or is dying. Recently talking with a friend in Brooklyn who lost her son and husband two days apart at the end of January this year, I asked her, how she did it, how she helped her son let go.
Her husband died quickly in an accident so no chance to help him. But with her son, she said, I need to, just be there. We have all heard and said that before. Yet we went deeper to her daily trips to the hospital and still working, always working.
She said he too helped her when he told her, mom go to work. She said she was lucky because her job was split between having to be close in the morning and afternoon, so she could visit him during the day in the Manhattan hospital he was in.
Day by day after blood transfusions, bone marrow transfusions it was decided one more transfusion. He had one already, an umbilical cord from a baby. Now he was about to have another and he was up, alert with new, or renewed hope. He had many visitors, hundreds at a fund raising in Staten Island,  and at an MTA Christmas party because he was so loved and thought about.
One day his mom came in and she just sat and waited, talked a little as he waved her over to him. He needed to let go and she needed to let him. He patted his chest for her to put her head on him. He then patted her, whispered how he loved her and his family. Tears fell from her face.
He fell back to sleep and she sat, just being there for him with him and loving him, knowing she had to try to be somewhat  strong, but time for him to stop trying to be strong for everyone else. A few days later he had that second transplant, and peacefully left this world as we know it.

That House-Mrs. Razz, Family, Friends

Do you remember growing up and having a favorite house you went to or that favorite friend your mom had? You know the friend who could talk about anything and never worried about the house, her hair or what was going on. What counted was she knew you were stopping over and needed to talk.
That was Razzy or Razz as my mother called her. I just got off the phone with my Razzy and it brought me back to a lady named Mrs. Rasmussen. I remember her, her wonderful husband, her son Georgie and two daughters Doris and Carol, all very individual but alike in many ways. I was more in tune to the parents especially Mrs. Razz.
When my mother and I would go over with my baby brother, Mrs. R would always and I do mean always make fresh coffee, with it perk, perk hitting that little glass piece at the top of a metal pot. We would walk in and paper and pencil awaited my brother, and on one end of the table against a wall would be a small plate and a small glass, ready for my brother to have milk and cookies.
Sometimes Mrs. R would have her hair tied up with a scarf wrapped around her head with Bobbi pins set in curls and a cigarette lit. But again, as always coffee was about to be poured, and the radio sat on the table playing soft music.
Plates ready for coffee cake. Oh Yeah ! Entemanns crumb coffee cake.
Because we all lived in apartments and some had less light than others. It was about the same in many apartments with a small lamp on the kitchen table and a radio. Mrs. Razz had such a table and her wallpaper was a aged, yellow print, Formica table top and four chairs. She also had ash trays ready and waiting. It seemed most adults smoked then and of course us kids would play as if we did too.
She would one the big over sized steel apartment doors with a big hug to my mother and said, come on in kids. To the table we went. Sitting around the table the talk started. In minutes her husband would come out and ask his wife if she wanted anything from the store. We all knew he was giving the ladies time alone.
I learned over time there are many homes like that, but it takes special people to have them, like Razzy. Soon the venting would begin and I'd see Mrs. Razz cross her arms and say to my mother, well what he needs is a good old kick in the ass. There were a lot of he's in my house, brothers and a male parent, but we knew who she meant.  That was a usual expression. I heard it in my own house too.
Razzy was very good at handing out advice although my mother never took it. Even at bingo which I went to a few times (just to eat) Razz would offer advice and my mother would say what a good idea that was. Razz would hold her cigarette fingers up, blowing smoke and say, who are you kidding? You're not listening. They'd both laugh. No matter where I was, when I was around Mrs Razzy, it was a safe feeling time. Thank you Mrs. R :)

Eye Opener TODAY !!! WHY no Changes ?

This is a map, wouldn't come through for me, VOTE IN NOVEMBER ! FIRE THEM ALL and vote in your dog for all it matters as we matter to the politicians!

This is a really good summation of where we are in this country today and where we appear to be headed!
Make sure you read to the bottom...
Quite an eye opener...cid:026a01ceb49a$b68eacd0$474da8c0@dellprecision36 These 11 States now have More People on Welfare than they do Employed!
Last month, the Senate Budget Committee reports that in fiscal year 2012, between food stamps, housing support, child care, Medicaid and other benefits, the average U.S. Household below the poverty line received $168.00 a day in government support. What's the problem with that much support? Well, the median household income in America is just over $50,000, which averages out to $137.13 a day. To put it another way, being on welfare now pays the equivalent of $30.00 an hour for a 40-hour week, while the average job pays $20.00 an hour.

Furthermore:
There are actually two messages here. The first is very
Interesting, but the second is absolutely astounding - and explains a lot.

A recent "Investor's Business Daily" article provided very
interesting statistics from a survey by the United Nations International Health Organization.

Percentage of men and women who survived a cancer five years
after diagnosis:

U.S. 65%

England 46%

Canada 42%

Percentage of patients diagnosed with diabetes who received
treatment within six months:

U.S. 93%

England 15%

Canada 43%

Percentage of seniors needing hip replacement who received it
within six months:

U.S. 90%

England 15%

Canada 43%

Percentage referred to a medical specialist who see one within
one month:

U.S. 77%

England 40%

Canada 43%

Number of MRI scanners (a prime diagnostic tool) per million
people:

U.S. 71

England 14

Canada 18

Percentage of seniors (65+), with low income, who say they are
in "excellent health":

U.S. 12%

England 2%

Canada 6%

And now for the last statistic:

National Health Insurance?

U.S. NO

England YES

Canada YES

Check this last set of statistics!!

The percentage of each past president's cabinet who had worked
in the private business sector prior to their appointment to the cabinet. You know what the private business sector is;
a real-life business, not a
government job.

Here are the percentages.

T. Roosevelt.................... 38%

Taft................................. 40%

Wilson ........................... 52%

Harding........................... 49%

Coolidge.......................... 48%

Hoover ........................... 42%

F. Roosevelt.................... 50%

Truman........................... 50%

Eisenhower................ .... 57%

Kennedy.......................... 30%

Johnson.......................... 47%

Nixon.............................. 53%

Ford................................ 42%

Carter.............................. 32%

Reagan........................... 56%

G H Bush........................ 51%

Clinton .......................... 39%

G W Bush....................... 55%

Obama............................. 8%

This helps to explain the incompetence of this administration:
only 8% of them have ever worked in private business!

That's right! Only eight percent---the least, by far, of the last 19 presidents! And these people are trying to tell our big corporations how to run their business?

How can the president of a major nation and society, the one
with the most successful economic system in world history, stand and talk about business when he's never worked for one? Or about jobs when he has never really had one? And when it's the same for 92% of his senior staff and closest advisers? They've spent most of their time in academia, government and/or non-profit jobs or as "community organizers."
They should have been in an employment line.

Pass this on because we'll NEVER see these facts in the main stream media. Giving someone a hand up is noble. Our history and the aforementioned facts are clear. Giving someone a handout in order to make them dependent is just WRONG!

Foster Care & Adoption, an Easier Way

There are many posts on line with people looking for a child to adopt, and usually they want a .baby. Why? Because they think  a baby has a better chance of growing up normally. But does the parent who is about to sign over the child tell a full truth as to, did they really use drugs, or drink alcohol? Those things are sometimes never revealed.
So why not start as a pre-adoptive foster parent. There are so many kids who need good homes. Guarantees? Can you guarantee you're a perfect person, so how would a child?
Please take time, call local foster care agencies, ask every question you should prior to a meeting, have written down. Foster parents are paid, and depending on what agency or county it's all different and they're are levels of care. Pay depends on that too, as it should. Even if you average it out to a twenty-four hour day, well you'd be surprised.
Yet it's well worth it especially if you are looking to adopt a child who wants you as much as you want them. Many new adoptive parents don't know this next thing. If you adopt through a foster care agency, you will continue to receive an adoption stipend, helping with every day living until your child is either eighteen or possible twenty-two, in college.
A last note about that perfect child you're searching for. How many parents who have had their own biological children, started out doing everything right are now visiting their kids in jail, or going to schools just made for trouble makers, dealing drugs, become alcoholics and worse, run-a-ways, not even knowing where there kids are.
Take time, go slow. A child is waiting just for you.
