TRUMP vs. Cosby ? U R WRONG!

What the hell is wrong with this country ? Donald Trump makes a statement that even I believe he could have, should have worded differently, HOWEVER, look at the Liberal, Democrats reaction. This was not what is called intelligent responses, but knee jerk reactions. So he is not allowed to be honest without severe penalties? What kind of a president are you morons looking for? Do you want someone in office, who continually lies, steals, is/was involved, had knowledge of, a murder, land deals gone wrong, a husband who had oral sex, disgracing the office of the white house and will continue to do the same? IS that really what you want?
OR maybe you'd rather have  BILL Cosby, amazing both him and Clinton are BILLS ! Okay now serious. Look at the poor women who were called liars, wanted fifteen minutes of fame, said they had their own agenda and people just didn't want to believe this rapist because he used to be a celebrity. YET He is hired back into clubs, people stand and cheer, and HE"S PAID!  Wrong America, WRONG !
Is isn't that I am for or against TRUMP. I love Ben Carson, Judge Pirro and there are a few others out there who would make GREAT Presidents. What is it you people, yes YOU PEOPLE want? China is buying real estate all over the United States of AMERICA. Cuba is now open. Just wait!
Remember that phrase, you made your bed, now lie in it?
I am not a hard nose type person, have worked in mental health, worked with kids, people of all ages, income and cultures. It's time for someone to say, I will make a change and do it for the GOOD of the United States. For GOD Sake, wake up AMERICA!
Recently in Brooklyn NY a mosque on 5th ave and 69th had their people praying outside on the sidewalk, blocking the whole side which happened last year on Broadway-no permits, yet people were afraid, even the police to tell them: YOU cannot block the sidewalk, you have to have a permit ! Society is so afraid that if right now a terrorist was running for office you would vote for him or her. You're asleep AMERICA!
Picture this: America is a garden, a beautiful garden with clear rows, clear sections, growth is green, tall, high, prosperous and someone comes along and sprays a pesticide on it, killing all that was good.
This is what's happening in America-Have you lost your passion America? If you have you might as well wave a white flag...and move to China.

Muslins, Alpine Brooklyn, Options Follow-up

Regarding my prior post, I take nothing back, however on Face book someone said, they pray for five minutes, let it go. Well that;s fine if that was all that it was about, but it's also about taking advantage of your religion and the fact that many are afraid of radical Muslims, so no one does anything about them blocking     a sidewalk so no one can pass. What will happen if they want to pray in front of your place of worship? What will happen when your child goes to school with a bible and not allowed to have it but a child of Muslim faith can not only bring the Koran, but stop to pray on his prayer mat? AMERICA, In the name of all that's Holy to us, GOD, JESUS, THE HOLY SPIRIT, Stand up, Stand out and hand over your HEART SHOW who we ARE, a UNITED STATES of AMERICA !
Lutherans, Jews, Catholics, Pentecostals, Baptists, Menonites, Pray like you nver prayed before, because thats all you may have left!

Snow, Trees, Love, Bay Ridge, Zion, Christmas

Somehow today my thoughts remained in and about Brooklyn. Christmas in my house was usually great when we were kids. With eight kids it was hard to imagine how one living room would overflow with gifts, and gifts that made all of us happy. What made me happiest was being able to go to church at Zion Lutheran, seeing friends and singing around a giant Norway Spruce.
The Norwegian ladies from Zion came to our house every year on fifty-night street to get shoe and clothing sizes of the kids, wants and needs. I watched as they made lists, asked our favorite colors and sipped coffee with my mother as a huge pot of split pea soup sat on the stove. When the time came to go to that party, we sang, ate, laughed, cried a little at all of the brown grocery bags filled and gift certificates for shoes were slipped down the inside of every bag. Our parents never came, but my father would sometimes drive over and we'd load up the car, and then we'd run home through the snow, the wonderful, cold and white snow filling our socks. It was the best of all Christmases.
As we got older time became harder for other families and we got less than when we were little. we were no longer considered poor. Yet being poor seemed somehow better, when you're little that is. I'm sure the grown-ups didn't think so.
Well we all know the expression, when one door closes another one opens and it did. It really did for me. That door came in the form of a man, Mr. Vitalo. He would become to me everything a man should be. I never saw that until I knew him, really knew him and I knew him because I watched him. I watched him as much as I could, and I listened to him.
While I loved this man, I loved him more it seemed in winter. He would stand outside in just his suit, jacket collar up if it was snowing, and rubbing his hands together for warmth while ushering kids into school before the bell rang. He stood about five feet seven inches tall, yet in my eye he was well over a six footer.
I watched and listened to him for years, as I was about to be left back because I didn't pass math or make my own graduation dress and I was happy to be left back. Then I would have him closer in my heart another year. But it wasn't to be. He passed me on the charcoal steps one day, said, "Hey Mac, ready for high school?" I answered, "oh Mr. Vitalo I'm not going, I never passed math or made my own dress". His answer for that was, "look Mac, you're a good kid, you just need a push, study more, stop babysitting (my brother-sure, like that would happen) and you'll do fine. This one time, I'm breaking my own rule".
I stood there, begged and almost cried to be left back. But he just patted my back and said, "you'll be fine Mac". He was so good, so very, very good, but he just didn't know what sending me on meant. I believe he was truly filled with gold. But he didn't know my family except a few verbal run-ins with my father to which he stood firm...well years moved on and oh yes, I did get left back in high school, taken out at fifteen, almost fifteen, to stay home and babysit.
Life passed. I married, moved on from the East Coast to West and back again, two children, graduated Penn State and still thought of Mr. Vitalo. I saw him on every corner in my mind. I felt his hand on my shoulder over the years and knew when I graduated I had to look him up. Besides having my two children, seeing Mr. Vitalo again was the third best day in my life. I'm going to end this here and remember that Brooklyn brought me God, Children, Mr. Vitalo, cobblestone streets and stick ball, Zion Lutheran Church, giant trees in sunset park and the biggest snows a kid could love. What more could I ask for ?

See the very Early stories about Mr. Vitalo

A Child's Fascinations'

This little boy I know has an amazing variety on interests, questions and fascinations. His questions come at me one after another, some before he finishes the first one. Think that's not possible? You just don't know him. I'll call him Benjamin, which according to him is a good enough name. He also wants to change his name so no know knows who he is. Sounds like a mystery story ?
His eyes are as bright as the sky on a sunny day and hair as swept as sand on a windy day. With tiny hands he can be seen reaching for anything, anything at all and asking, what's this? What's this for? When did it get here? Who made it? Why did they make it? Did anyone else make it before? No? Why? That's how it goes with him. He asks why is God here? Who made God. Did he get here before you or me and what will happen to God if the earth is gone?
Then of course like most kids, he has an interest in bugs, but more questions, such as, how did they get here, did God put them here, will they hurt, why do they want to come inside or stay outside and how did they get that color? On and on and on his questions go. Many, many times they are not related to one another at all. He might ask, can I build buildings and go right to can I grow my own food then immediately after ask what does a certain word mean.
I suspect somewhere inside of him is a little genius. He may not grasp most answers most of the time, but most of the time he will ask again, either the next day or  a few days later. So my point here is when children ask questions, don't put them off, don't push away, don't bemoan the situation. But do take breaks, after all a child is looking up to you and a child is part of your future.

SHE Did it AGAIN !!!

I say we make her a citizen of the USA and run her for president !! Thumbs up
She Did It Again !!!

Australia says NO -- This will be the second time Julia Gillard has done this!

She sure isn't backing down on her hard line stance and one has to appreciate her belief in the rights of her native countrymen.

A breath of fresh air to see someone lead with guts and determination.
Australian Prime Minister does it again!!

The whole world needs a leader like this!
Description: Inline image 1

Prime Minister Julia Gillard - Australia

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia, as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.

Separately, Gillard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying she supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques. Quote:
'IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT... Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture.
Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians.'

'This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom.'

'We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, learn the language!'

'Most Australians believe in God.
This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.'

'We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.'

'This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs,
or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, 'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE'.'

'If you aren't happy here then LEAVE.
We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country that accepted you.'

NOTE: IF we circulate this amongst ourselves in Canada & USA , WE will find the courage to start speaking and voicing the same truths.

If you agree please SEND THIS ON
and ON, to as many people as you know...
Love unconditionally and live like someone left the gate open!

Collect Calls in Heaven ?

Wouldn't that be great ? Imagine getting a collect call from someone you know who made it ? Made it to heaven that is...not Hell.  But maybe we do, and just don't realize it. In our every day actions, choices, walks of life, how we handle money and people, what we prioritize could be those collect calls as in our conscience.
Then what about the dreams we have ? Some are so freakin' real, we just have to know a message is being sent, but by whom ? Is it God ? To be honest here, I just heard that expression on TV-Dog The Bounty Hunter. Yeah, I watch it sometimes, but cable is going. I haven't seen anything on cable that attracts me to keep it other than distract me from LIVING!
I'd rather work on my web site Doozybags.com and continue to make more things that people like. Animal neck wear coming soon.

Now the next time you do get a collect call...answer it. You never know

She Travels... God Man ? Part One

On the mountains she traveled. She walked having only two pairs of boots to wear. With no particular journey in mind except one, to find an answer. In her mind the only way to get an answer was to be closer to God. She felt she could only be closer if she was higher, so she traveled.
She, we will call Aubrey was only fifteen years old. Aubrey ran away from her parents who she felt never protected the children, but hired them out to neighbors and friends. She came from a village in Torkaman. While a very small village, poor and quiet, there were some families who, related to the rich were able to hire Aubrey. Mainly she was also allowed to work across the border where she was severely beaten and so much more abuse came to her.
Aubrey had one close friend,a boy name Mana. She told him in the homes across the border she saw television and what that was like. She told him she saw people praying and Mana would shush her, reminding her it was sin to witness and tell others of another God from other countries. Yet Aubrey said, "Mana,  I tell you God is true and I have to find him and ask him why he lets this happen to us. look at our people. We are hungry, cold, sick, and yet happy, but I am not happy Mana I am sick with not being happy. We are to accept our punishments as we deserve it, but Mana we don't deserve it. On this television it tells me our families are to love us and protect us."
Mana tells Aubrey, " Aubrey they will kill you or they will never let you outside again until you are an old woman if they know you see and talk about this God. Aubrey did you tell anyone about your punishments and what some men did to you?" She answered, yes, Mana I did. I tell one woman who tells me she believes in this other God and she will run away with me to protect me, that I am to tell her when I will leave." Mana says, Do not tell her Aubrey. I know of that woman. She turns us children in and we are never heard from again. Others know only that we know we are in the home and never let out, but some of us are killed." Aubrey believes him.
They tell each other good-night and the next day Aubrey is to work for that woman again across the border. The woman asks Aubrey, when will she leave as soon as Aubrey starts to clean. Aubrey is now suspicious but decides to tell her, in two weeks she will leave. On her way home Aubrey is thinking about how she will bundle her clothes for cold climbing and footwear. She waits and watches.
It is the second day when she sees Mana and asks him if he has boots and anything like food for her to take. Mana tells her he will get her boots from his uncle who repairs shoes and boots for the villagers and he will get food from scraps that he can find. It takes two more days and Mana meets with Aubrey. Mana loves Aubrey, and tells her if she does not leave he will marry her. She tell him she loves him too, but she loves this new man God too, so she must find him first and get answers.
On the fifth day she returns to the lady across the border and again the woman asks, when will you leave and can I go with you. Aubrey asks her what if we are caught and what will you tell them. The woman says we will not be caught because we will be killed and then tells Aubrey so it is in nine days you will leave? I will wait here and when you come to clean, we will walk like we are just walking. Now Aubrey tells her, but we will have to have supplies and won't the patrols ask to see our packs. The woman says, I will tell them we have food for strangers and we are helping others who walk to give them strength. Aubrey knew she was lying. Aubrey was also told by Mana that this woman gets paid to turn in traitors.
It is now the sixth day and Aubrey met with Mana. He asked again when are you leaving and please don't go I want to marry you soon. Aubrey told him, but we are young and I am leaving tonight at midnight when everyone is asleep. I will travel from the back of my home to the next mountain I can see.
Mana had tears in his eyes. He told her, my heart will follow you and one day I will be close and we will marry. I love you Aubrey. They kissed on each others cheeks and said goodnight and goodbye.
It was now midnight and Aubrey quietly stole out of her house. As she neared the mountain she thought she saw a shadow and would now be caught, but she went forward to face who it was. It was Mana. They hugged and she asked if he was going. He said no, he couldn't as there was only enough food and clothes extra for one, but to tell her again he loved her and would see her again one day.
As she was about to turn and leave, he said, "wait Aubrey, I have a gift for you". He handed her a black book and she asked what is this book? Mana said, "it is called a Bible, and talks about that God man you have heard of, so now in your travels you can read about this man". He handed her another pack with boots and food and gloves and a small shovel to dig with for shelter. Mana was a very good friend. They turned quickly from one another, he to go home and she on her travels to find this man called God.

Mana arrived at his home and a light was on. He was afraid. No one should be awake. Mana lived with seven family members and it was an uncle who was awake. The uncle ask where he went to in the middle of the night. Mana lied of course and told the uncle he thought he heard  someone trying to get in the window so he went outside to find and kill them to protect his mother. The uncle patted his head and told him he was a good son. They went back to sleep. Mana cried quietly for his Aubrey.
Early the next morning the village was wakened by the village bell which meant an emergency. Villagers gathered at the bell to hear the news, Aubrey was gone and that she slept in her bed, so someone must have stolen her. Mana smiled inside himself feeling that was good they thought what they did. The villagers thought surely, someone across the border must have taken and sold her, and were told to go home and pray for Aubrey's family.
Late that afternoon an uncle came to see Mana's father. Mana was outside the door but knew what they were yelling about. The uncle was accusing Mana's father for stealing a pair of boots as Mana's father had small feet. Mana was smiling. He didn't like his father very  much. Mana was hopeful things would stay this way. The uncle went on yelling in a high voice which brought officials. He told them, my nephew stole a pair of my boots. A search was made and boots were not found. They made the uncle stop his charges. Mana felt very good, thinking all this would soon go away.
But it didn't. It was late afternoon when an official came to Mana's home with this woman. She said Aubrey did not come to work and let them know Aubrey would run away, that she talked one time of a boy named Mana, so Mana must know. Mana was taken from his home and kept away for four days and nights. when he returned he was thinner with dark circles under his eyes. He had strap marks across his body. The official told his father he had a son who is either stubborn, strong or stupid and they will watch him closely to see if he goes where Aubrey went.
Mana went to his bend and his mother came with a wash cloth. She whispered to him, "Mana I know you know. I heard you and Aubrey. I am proud of you." He smiled and slept.

God uses Good but Bad Use God

As usual I grabbed a cup of coffee which I'm trying to quit, and put the a.m. TV on. An old movie station came on with Jimmy Stewart who played Mattie Appleyard. Never heard of it, but what I did hear hit me. A narrator said, " God uses the good, and the bad use God. The movie was near the end but the good guy won. Sure they do just about every time. But is that in real life?
Honestly I think so. No matter what difficulties we go through, God's plan come out on top. As I write this I think of all of the horrible things that happen to us and never makes sense. Why do the good die young ? What about innocent babies being born with diseases and having to fight for every breath? I don't know. Yet it seems in those battles you know who your real friends are compared to the nosiest people.
The good come and want to help, while the other want to look. The good donate time, money and prayers, whatever they can offer. The bad walk away.
Then we have wars. Why? To enrich the egos of men ? Do the good win, God people? I don't know but the answers are probable close. We just don't look in the right direction. Remember, God uses the good.

Before U Die , Get Ready For ---

Do you know how or when you'll die? Some people have an idea if stricken with a terminal disease and have time to prepare. But what if you're not prepared? Is your life right with God and your family?
Who do you consider family? Is it brothers and sisters/parents who have done nothing but wrong to you or is it, those other people? The people who are you're friends, and even almost invisible friends, like special neighbors and people who may have helped you without giving it a second thought? Old friends no more? What about them? Or do you think about enemies; everyone who has only done harm in your life? Well Get rid of those thoughts.
I listened to Jerry Lewis last night on PBS and he handed out some great advice as one who has lived a long and experienced life. Those are the people you want to listen to. He had a twenty-year break in friendship over what he said was something stupid but when he and Dean MArtin renewed teh friendship they spoke every day after that until Dean died.
Kids, and moms and dad in your mid-years, listen to your elders is still great advice. Growing up I was very close to a Chinese family and one of the younger sisters was teased a lot because her father owned a Chinese laundry. However one day her brother walked over to where she was being bullied at, close to the school building. Very quietly he told his sister, but loud enough for the bullies to hear, Sister, remember what Grandfather told us, we will just put a curse on them and he put his arm on her shoulder and ushered her away.
He and I talked the next Saturday night when I went to pick up shirts for my brothers and myself. I asked him about the curse. He said, Grandfather said, choose words wisely, make them short, and they will believe, so I said that about the curse and in school when one boys pants zipped ripped he grabbed it and looked at my sister. She just started at him but he didn't bother her again and it was the same for a few more. He old me though, he did believe in advice from his grandparents because they knew even better than his parents.
Heck, I knew that part a long time ago. My grandmother always told me about people going to hell who hurt children, and about children who get hurt will have a special place in Heaven. Okay I had  a place reserved, but then I grew up, so what happens now grandma I asked her one day. She said you are responsible for yourself and to make sure as long as you can to protect your children.
I deeply loved and respected my grandmother and like many elders, they too made mistakes and as we know a mistake is what happens such as spilling milk, not something you do over and over. That's either stupidity, greed, or ya just don't want to learn. Guilty, guilty, guilty!  So I ask myself is it time ? Ya bet yer butt it is. time to get it all right. When is your time?

Faith, Beliefs, Food, Kids, Health, God, and Life

Years ago there was a song titled, What's is all about, Alfie? I seem to think about that a lot or maybe it seems that way at times. We all go through periods where we, think deeply about things and then we have the what ifs.
Have you wondered what your life is all about? I do sometimes and talked that over with my son. His comment was, if we think too long about our purpose or what's to be our purpose, we don't enjoy life. That makes sense to me, and I thrive on common sense, yet to be honest I am very impulsive and my lack of financial common sense has gotten me into trouble at times.

Common sense is how I catch kids in lies.  Common send is how I now eat once again, plant based. I started yesterday. A boy moved out of my home Friday and I knew I would go back to Gods way of eating which is plant based, however he also put animals here for our food too. That was a time when pesticides weren't "spread" so wide. This too was a chat with my son, how when I was doing Forks over Knives, I was emotionally happy, and happier each day. But it's pesticides that have to now make me decide what meats I will eat as I love meat and don't want to do without. I will research free range beef.

There is a new reporter who I will look up now, stopping as this is important, BILL CURTIS ! I just remembered.  He even talked about that when he was interviewed about his beef.  He has a ranch in the Midwest where he lets his herd roam free, God's way, which is how it was in the beginning and no I wasn't there. So how would I know you ask? Look into when pesticides came to be. Check out cancers, when were they first know and what population of people have cancer and heart disease LESS than anywhere else. That information you will find in The Blue Zones areas. Look it up.

Look at kids in this generation and a few generations before. What makes them happy or I should ask what makes them think they're happy? Electronics, drugs, money, alcohol, freedom, lack of responsibilities, bullying and more along those lines.

Then look at other kids, kids who eat differently, whose family values are to do for others as you would have them do for you, who have spiritual connections, who do for others, take responsibility, education is important, money is when they work for it, ethics, respect of adults and property, the law, being there for friends, not being part of bullying and they don't have to have name brands and what other kids have. They live within their means and the means of the parents.
So what's it all about Alfie? In that story, the young lady learns it's about love, not money, not all of the things money will get you but love. Love covers everything. If you have love of family and faith, you will respect yourself and others to start with, and from that the other things which have values will follow.
Next time your child asks you about life and why we're here, let them know simply, for each other and to learn.

Paint spray can explodes by gas stove !

If you missed it on the news yesterday, I didn't. It started out as a commercial showing how a woman's dog, a corgi gets into her kitchen cabinet and takes things out. So as the camera rolls the corgis is getting into things and finds a can of spray pain, grabs it and it goes off everywhere, but as it lays on the floor the fumes from the can seep under her gas stove and an explosion erupts, causing a fire in her kitchen.
No one was hurt THANK GOD( too bad Obama, it's acceptable here) but imagine if this was a child left alone while mom or dad had to leave a few moments, you know the bathroom. So lock those bottom cabinets. I'm thinking of locking my top and bottom cabinets.
Paint cans? They belong in the basement, outside away from possible dangerous fumes or anywhere safe. For those of you who know me-I'm constantly working on it:)

If God was One of Us, What

It was another one of those wake up with thoughts in my head mornings. First thought was that Song, What if God was one of us? It started the wheels turning so I knew I had to blog it to get it out of my head-hopefully or it will be there for days.
What would God look like? What kind of personality would he take on? My daughter and I had a chat on the way home from Ohio about God, Christianity and being a Jew, the beliefs we don't share. The Jews believe you get to heaven by good works and Christians believe you...well I'm no longer sure. You have to be saved? Jesus also says no man comes to the father except by or through me? There are other things that tell us how to get to heaven, so which one is it? Is it all of them? Maybe I should convert. Judaism seems easier if it's just to do good works.
Now back to, what if God is one of us. Would he take on a child-like form? Would he be black or white. We've argued enough over that and my personal feeling is, he was a Jew so his color could have been olive, hair like wool? Sure, He didn't use conditioner and brown skin? Sure again. He lived in the sun. We don't really know what he looked like except for descriptions in the Bible, and who cares.
He was a carpenter so would he look like a man who has rough hands, and join the carpenters union or would HE join the teachers union and teach in schools?
He knew all about pain, so would he become a child-bearing woman:)?
One of the things I said to my daughter as we talked about going to heaven is, what if the Bible is right? Who wants to take a chance and ignore it? She nodded in agreement. Her nephew was just baptized in a Catholic church. She and her brother were raised in an Assemblies of God church, and I was raised in a Lutheran church, but introduced my children to the Jewish Community Center and taught them about other religions as they grew. We attended a Presbyterian church in Oregon as our church when my son was younger. For me it's about the people and what the church teaches.
IF GOD walked among us, I doubt He'd be too happy. We have liquor, the lottery, porn, children being abused and more, and I don't have enough time or the stomach to point out how sinful we are with such precious lives in our care. Even our thoughts are sinful. I just slapped myself:) I am not without sin by a long shot. I do try to do better. I wonder why He gave us free choice. Look what we've done with it?

Those Little Footsteps...No More

The silence of one is something I enjoy, but I most enjoy a bunch of kids, laughing, being silly, taking them out, making crafts, and simply letting them enjoy being a child. For almost a week I've had two young guests, siblings and you know how that is. Siblings are interesting and fun. No matter how different, they are the same in the important things in life. But I don't mean all siblings.
I've come to learn about a silence of two, no words to express that except wish to be one again or have a bunch of kids running around, yelling, laughing, playing make believe, reading, and so much more. Kids who have a wide variety of interests are so easy to please. Kids who don't have many interests lack motivation, so it's up to us as parents to try and try again to motivate.
My time this past week with these little guys brought a refreshed interest. I heard appreciative thank-yous'. I saw facial expressions of fun, laughter, interest, curiosity, sadness, daydreaming and had questions galore. What a pleasure! They talked and asked questions about my children, places I've been, they've been, and where we could go. They talked about things they read, discoveries they've made and their teachers, what they've learned that day. These little guys love their teachers, and how they're taught at school. I wish their teacher's could read this.
When I drop one brother off at school, another brother and I wait over a half an hour for his bell, and we sit and watch. One by one they drive into the parking lot, open the doors and bags in hand walk past us. He waves. They give him a big smile and wave back. We talk about who each teacher is and he never stops talking, but in such a good way. He's interesting, not just rattling on. He describes them and what they offer to kids. He knows them well.
The other brother is a big time reader, yet both are. One reads more and he talks too. He talks about his characters and then compares people he meets to having similarities  to some of the characters. He also asks me a lot of questions. He is so cute as is his brother. So individual are they, that they both becomes favorites and  a person just wants to do for them, take care of them, nurture, hug, play, take them to parks, let them stay up a little bit later and just stay little. These little guys give , I think much more than they get. They just don't know it yet. Children of God, definitely, and where ever they are in life I hope people always treat them as treasures...because they are.
Those little footsteps...I miss them, but hopefully they'll be back:)
