More than Gun Control, McVeigh, Jim Jones, Terrorists, Illegals

        Every time we have a murder by gun, people want gun control. Where were they before they were personally touched by this? I know, this sounds cold, but the fact is, this is more than lack of gun control. Our American citizens die by illegal guns, joining cults, Illegal drugs, legal drugs, alcohol, terrorists and now of course and as usual Politicians jump on this and as I saw Hillary Clinton reading from a speech prepared, looking at it sideways, thinking we are stupid and can't tell she is reading off a paper. That's not from the heart !
    Look at our penal system, our whole way of life has to change. We have things that have been happening over and over for years only now it's worse because the population has grown. Our mental health system is only okay. Everyone appears to do what they can. Our education system is failing, yet maybe they too are doing as well as they can with what they have.
    How many of our own citizens have bombed our own citizens and look at the Jim Jones Massacre and that guy, forgot his name who also had a cult school, blew them all up, then the uni bomber and we have crazies out there molesting our kids, people in trust positions. We are living in a sick and crime filled nation and crooked politicians do not care. They have had enough time to show they do, and they haven't shown anything except how to fill their pockets, get more entitlements for themselves and spouses and screw the public.
     Kids want to go to college to better themselves but get out owing many, many thousands of dollars in student loans and in debt with credit cards because the new students books are filled with applications for  , a new credit card. Then they get/receive too much in loans and grants. Kids are kids and all that extra money looks good. IT can be controlled but no, banks and colleges work to get students into debt.
     The next big topic will be whatever tragedy happens and hits the news. When a bunch of boys rape a college girl, that will be the next biggest thing, a group of kids commit suicide by layng on a train track, that's new until, kids are molested at a day care, and then again, drugs will be the next politicians topic of the day.
     So what do we do and how do we fix things? Be really careful in who you vote for and why. As parents, keep your kids close to you as much as possible, and don't chastise them when they open up about awful things they've done, because you've done it too probably, but let it become a way to help. Things always start at home. Know as much as you can who the friends are, what they're like. Learn about Mental Illness, and learn some more. Let friends come over, have snacks, supper, let them gather in the living room, and you just pop in and out. Always let them know you only love, love, love them and will help, help and help some more. Go to them once in a while, ask for their thoughts, make them important too. join a gym together, take art, swim, knit, men and ladies, ask for math help and love them again.
 Well that's good enough for now. Get a good nights sleep.

TRUMP vs. Cosby ? U R WRONG!

       What the hell is wrong with this country ? Donald Trump makes a statement that even I believe he could have, should have worded differently, HOWEVER, look at the Liberal, Democrats reaction. This was not what is called intelligent responses, but knee jerk reactions. So he is not allowed to be honest without severe penalties? What kind of a president are you morons looking for? Do you want someone in office, who continually lies, steals, is/was involved, had knowledge of, a murder, land deals gone wrong, a husband who had oral sex, disgracing the office of the white house and will continue to do the same? IS that really what you want?
    OR maybe you'd rather have  BILL Cosby, amazing both him and Clinton are BILLS ! Okay now serious. Look at the poor women who were called liars, wanted fifteen minutes of fame, said they had their own agenda and people just didn't want to believe this rapist because he used to be a celebrity. YET He is hired back into clubs, people stand and cheer, and HE"S PAID!  Wrong America, WRONG !
    Is isn't that I am for or against TRUMP. I love Ben Carson, Judge Pirro and there are a few others out there who would make GREAT Presidents. What is it you people, yes YOU PEOPLE want? China is buying real estate all over the United States of AMERICA. Cuba is now open. Just wait!

I am not a hard nose type person, have worked in mental health, worked with kids, people of all ages, income and cultures. It's time for someone to say, I will make a change and do it for the GOOD of the United States. For GOD Sake, wake up AMERICA!
   Recently in Brooklyn NY a mosque on 5th ave and 69th had their people praying outside on the sidewalk, blocking the whole side which happened last year on Broadway-no permits, yet people were afraid, even the police to tell them: YOU cannot block the sidewalk, you have to have a permit ! Society is so afraid that if right now a terrorist was running for office you would vote for him or her. You're asleep AMERICA! 
    Picture this: America is a garden, a beautiful garden with clear rows, clear sections, growth is green, tall, high, prosperous and someone comes along and sprays a pesticide on it, killing all that was good.
    This is what's happening in America-Have you lost your passion America? If you have you might as well wave a white flag...and move to China.

Dear Ben Carson= Freedom !

        Hello Dr./Mr President Carson

                          Years ago as a foster mom, I used your story for a child I had in foster care. He is black, and has lived in so many homes, no black male role model to look up to. So I kind of made up a story about Sidney Poitier, how he dressed as a young man, found a pair of shoes in a window, left his family behind in the Caribbean so he "could Make it in America" and how one day he saw a pair of shoes he loved, would do anything for them, heard about acting and in small town America, was given a script to read. He got on stage and made things up because he couldn't read. All of this I made up. Then in that story I said Sidney went into a diner. A man sat in the back corner booth reading a paper, a white guy who owned the diner.
     Sidney watched as he read, turned he pages, laughed, grimaced and finally Sidney asked the man to teach him to read and he would do anything for that. They came to an agreement that Sidney would work as many hours as the man wanted washing dishes, cleaning and anything that came up. Sidney added how he wanted to buy a pair of shoes.
      Over the next several months the owner watched how hard Sidney worked to learn to read and buy a pair of shoes. The day finally came. Sidney could read, not great, but he could and asked the man for the money for shoes. The man said, I never promised you money, just shoes and had Sidney walk with him to the store. The man respected Sidney so much, they walked and talked about each others family, education, and being black. Arriving at the store Sidney sees the shoes are gone. The man says, don't worry, they have plenty. The man introduces Sidney to the store keeper, Arnie. Arnie reaches out to grasp Sidneys' hand and Sidney pulls back, uncertain. Its okay says the diner owner. They shake hands and Arnie says, come here Sidney. He opens a curtain, and there hanging are two suits, one very casual and one a dress suit with shirts, ties, belts, and two pairs of shoes. There were also under wear. Sidney sat and cried.
        Those three men forever stayed friends, out of trust and respect. To repeat myself, I made all of that up for  a kid. But then I decided to take him to Washington to meet a congressman, the real deal to show this child who he too cab become. The congressman promised him all kinds of things, then he wanted to use the boys' picture for a new law they were making about siblings seeing each other more. This  kid had eleven siblings, nine in care. When I told the congressman he can't use his picture because the child was through Children and youth, just about everything stopped, including promises of a team sweatshirt.
    The kids' birthday comes around and by now he is living in  a residential home. I called, we talked and he never received a thing. I called the congressmans' office, Chaka Fattah something from Philly. His Secretary answered and I told her I would go to the papers because of that lack of action. She asked for the kids address and sent him a pencil and pad. !
      Real life or make believe? What would you want? Then I saw your story as a kid and the boy...well I let him move in with me again a few years later and I think, not sure there was a Christian movie about you or a library book. Either way, he knew about you but felt too far for him to reach and still preferred Sidney' Poitier's made up story asking me if I thought he could get that far. Sure, why not?
     Doctor Carson, America is looking at you and fools that we are may end up voting for more of the same because we don't see the passion in you that we see in Judge Pirro or D. Trump. I think you are just a careful common sense man and I pray you make it. If you don't, Judge Pirro doesn't look like shes running, but maybe Trump or Christie?
    I believe your life is as valuable as you believe every one's life is and you would really be the First Black president as Mr. Obama is the first Bi Racial. Sadly I have lost respect for all governing people. They take and take We have elderly who are not taken cared of and a law now passed allows illegal immigrants to receive medical care, get an education,  Disability, and more than immigrants who come here by way of waiting, following rules, obeying the law, shoved aside as Americans who are born here. This is not the AMERICA I knew.

UTAH HAS a DIRTY MIND

    UTAH just disapproved a vets license plate because it has the number 69 in it !!!! Come on UTAH ! We know your a Mormon state but how is it you have such a dirty mind, or maybe you don't have vets ? It was the year 1969 of this vets involvement in the war. He wanted to honor that.
                        Arnold Breitenback is a VIETNAM war vet who simply wanted personal license plates, plated which honored his Viet Nam Vets as well I'm sure himself. After all people, we know people ask about personalized plates and we also know the number 69 has a sexual connotation to it. But of all states, UTAH to make this illegal.
        So I have come to the conclusion that UTAH which has many families who practice polygamy does not have a sense of humor which is a good way to look at that is any "way"  to look at it at all. Or UTAH is very judgemental, hypocritical, against vets, wont support our vets which it turn supports our AMERICAN freedoms and protects your right in UTAH to not allow the number 69. SO UTAH, ya better take 6 and 9 out of your schools

Sports Stars Vs. Duck Dynasty

     I am watching The O'Reilly Factor at 8:22 Eastern time and listening to a black(Juan ?) man speak about Jessee Jackson, in an honest way-that Jackson is really looking to insert himself anywhere he can for money.
   The regular newsman, this is also advertised as fox43, so I am again confused. All of this piece started out as being about Phil Robertson and Duck Dynasty's  24 hour marathon where Phil is supposed to be indefinitely suspended. Now as I stated in  a post, consequences come with being outspoken, principles or not, but good for you Phil and family.
      Now lets go to another place, Sports stars and kids. How many sports stars/celebrities have used over and over again, steroids, performance enhancing drugs, beat and raped women, yet earn millions a year with little punishment.
Who's fault is all of this. The American Public=stupidity. The only thing that will change what we don't like is to stop buying tickets, stop buying sports memorabilia, stop paying crazy prices for people who offend, change the channel's, do not buy, do not buy, and do not buy from those who offend.
      The owners of these teams are all saying we, The American Public will take any kind of crap;Let the rape our girls & women, let them take drugs, let them kill, let them drive drunk. let them carry guns because googly eye fans will still pay, they will still watch, they will still buy. Who are we to blame ? US!!!! IDIOTS !!!
      Teach your children. You don't like what Phil Robertson says, Change the channel you idiots ! Make an example for kids to follow. Why do we have so many school shootings ? Look who we idolize-stupid, idiot, morons keep watching, continue to let kids see the same thing.
   I will watch Duck Dynasty and I don't need to explain why to anyone. I won't buy anything sports related that I know has had an influence, negative on the American public's children.
   OH let's take Hollywood while I'm at it. We love our favorite actors, but as adults we need to be cautious when we say front of our children, Oh I gotta see that!. We're adults and hopefully smarter. Teens brains have not developed yet, no until about age 22. So for God's sake, for G_D's sake, for Heavens sake-do the right thing for your kids, and for the future of all kids.  Change the channel, stop buying sports materials, sneakers too after all they're mostly made in China, Love your country, love your family and feet. Make better choice this year. Keep your money at home with you where you have earned it and don't spend on idiots!!!!

Clay Aitken vs. Phil Robertson, Happy Happy Happy

     Last night I listened to Clay Aitken comments about Phil Robertson. He was very sincere, not attacking, just as Phil Robertson was, but speaking his mind. I really like Clay since I first heard him sin and he has a great voice, is also gay. Just like Phil Robertson they are from opposite side so they each have a right to free speech.
      Clay's perspective was that he has heard so much that this is about free speech, but he disagrees and stated where does it end. What if remarks were about kids? He was also a teacher of children with special needs. He again said what if it was about...and I forgot that part but it stuck out about children.
        We don't do enough to protect children in this country, but to compare what Robertson said to free speech and kids is a bit off. If a grown man verbally attacks a kid he deserves what he gets, but Robertson was speaking to hopefully educated to some degree, the adult public.
        So in his own right, same as anyone else in AMERICA, Clay Aitken used free speech and the media, Arsenio Hall's TV show. I am usually no up that late but  happy happy happy I was.

Communism & Christmas

     I never ever thought I'd use those words together, but reading once again how people are "offended" at others putting Christmas lights up on their own property. Where do they think they are ? China ? No that's where you buy all your crap=same thing ! You Support all of "Those" countries and things, but God Forbid you support your own country where we have RIGHTS!!!! SCREW YOU PEOPLE.
     If you want so much shut down that you don't like, that offends you, that you can't stand, words, religions, freedoms, then take your freaking ass, and go live in CHINA. I for one and sick of this Bull S__T !!!

QVC = MADE in CHINA

       Since having cable this past month, all I see is shows selling crap, same shows on different channels and the show I do enjoy I can get on a plain old antenna, FREE, so I called comcast to take it out.
       Well I made a stop on the QVC channel and see rubbery looking women's shoes, kinda of cute like we wore in second grade. Why do they sell so much women's crap ? DO they think women spend more on crap, that they're stupid ? Well I didn't have any intention of buying them anyway but really want to know where they're made. They were ready.
         The first question is what's your number, meaning the number of the item. That operator didn't even say hello. I gave the number and I think she called them mudd shoes, not sure. But I do know how rubbery they were as QVC showed them being bent head to toe :) and pretty colors.
         Does that mean we should spend American money on a product made in China ? Again? and again ? When will it stop ? When we say, no, I don't want it , once they tell you it's isn't made here in America. WHO benefits ? China and the product business owner, not us. Not an American citi-zen.
     When will it stop ? When we say no, I don't want it.

America Needs To...Answers

    Come to terms that we are not doing better. Like a blender we are a nation of immigrants but that shouldn't mean we allow people amnesty for ten years who came here illegally, so do what's needed and close the borders. But I know if that does happen the business of immigration will be so much less and the DEA will not need as many security guards and drug dogs, all equaling money.
    Farmers in California want the immigrants because of low pay. Here's my answer to that. We had or have civil service when young men and women wanted to go overseas to help in impoverished countries. So why not do that here, but in another way.
   High School and college students in their last years of programs should have to do internships in community services, but get paid the same as the Immigrants were/are being paid. If it starts in high school the purpose it serves is an OMG, if I don't do better this is my life. Maybe start that in the third year of high school.
   DRUGS-Those who are picked up for drug trafficking will serve time in the fields. They will receive credit for time served depending on how well they perform the duties of picking fruits and vegetables. If they don't show, they go to a local jail/reform program and then are taken to the fields.
   Drug Addicts-okay we don't want them puking on the crops, so the first thirty-ninety days in jail or a program and then field time, or work in food banks, or missions, cleaning streets, toilets etc. to show them where their life is going.
   Pimps-First timers. One year in jail.
   Prostitutes- six months in jail and six months working in fields.
This same type of work can work across the criminal board.
  Make the crime work. Kids also need criminal punishment. Lets start with having them work in the school they are in as part of a work/giving back program. They can also receive a certain amount of credit when they do extra well.
     We're not doing better. Too many are still on family generational welfare, food stamps, medical. Yes, I know many need it, but when I see a single young man or woman, without children or responsibilities other than self support leaning on the government, when they could be working two jobs, they too need some field jobs. If they tell a caseworker, but I can't find a job, That caseworker should say, well we have a cleaning job for you...and of course the client answer will be, oh no I can't do that. The caseworker answer should be a one time, no second chances, oh honey I understand and as she watches the smile come across the clients face, simply tell them, case closed.

Bombers' Parents & Families

      Tonight I saw a very angry father hearing his twenty-six year old son was killed by the police and his wife on the side saying they have no proof. Yes, they do have proof, but I understand why they're angry, simply because they can't believe they're boys would so such a thing.With all of the news, there is nothing but proof, but imagine being the parents of these brothers? Chances are they will never believe it, after all these guys were doing  very well here in America for such a long time.
        What made them turn against a country who welcomed them with open arms. Was it the fact that the other brother could not box for the US because he wasn't a citizen? Did they want to be religious hero's of some kind? No one knows anything yet, anything to give the public an idea about all of the whys.
    An Aunt in Canada stated they were set up. Who put the bomb in the older brothers hand to throw at cops? Is that being set-up? But that's how families respond when they know their kids, and nephews in a way we didn't know them.
     As I watched the angry father yell how the police killed his son, there were no words of compassion concerning the people here who were killed, maimed and whose families' lives were split in two because of these two young men. I wonder if the younger brother just wanted to be like his older brother and never thought about an ending. What an ending. So very sad.
     This is a Christian community in Boston as in many cities. and I bet you will hear people saying, we have to pray for their parents too. No one wins. Lives are lost, shattered and twisted and now fear and suspicion will replace trust and bravado. But I suspect not for long. People do go on. Time does heal and coping takes over.
       Right now, possibly because the younger brother is alive, so far, the parents of these two will realize something changed and hopefully will learn and accept the truth no matter how hard and how deeply it hurts and will have to emotionally face the little kids they raised, lost there way. They will also have to face that horrible word, terrorist. Can you imagine?

Michelle Dances, Congress QUITS, R these Role Models

       How many have seen a few latest photo ops for Michelle Obama. She still travels, still makes appearances that don't have any bearing on improving the country, just more use of tax payer dollars and Congress QUITS.
     The Blame game goes all the way to the top. Is this the message we want to send to our kids. When a child asks mom or dad why they can no longer afford to pay rent or the mortgage, mom and dad will say, well son, Congress can't get along and so these people who make decisions for the country just up and took a day off. Now the public will pay.
   But dad, the son asks how come Mrs. Obama can afford to travel and be on television. Well son, that's because she doesn't pay for it and she also gets people to protect her, not like us who live regular every day lives.
   But dad what about the president? He gets protected too right? So why doesn't he make sure we're protected? Well son he just doesn't really have to worry about the public right now.
   I know I got off track, but I'm sure you get the point. I opened up my PC this morning and the first thing I see is Michelle Obama on Rachael Ray, and she was on Dr. OZ the other day. Who pays for this celebrity status she's wants so badly? Okay Democrats will say but she's pushing health. BIG FREAKIN DEAL !
She isn't the type of person we need doing this stuff-we need to hear more from nutritionists and professionals, and how moms and dads feed their kids and get them to move, not Michelle. Yes, I know she's a mom, but at what cost does these appearances cost the American public.
   If she wants to do good, put on a pair of jeans and help rebuild homes, feed people, clothe people, work in Aids clinics, volunteer at hospitals that are shorthanded. Stop being Mrs. Celebrity, unless of course that's your goal after the white house, moving to Hollywood.

9/11, Pledge of Allegiance in schools

       How, more so after September eleventh, are we still without the pledge of allegiance in our school? How is it our children don't know it as they should as well as the Star Spangled Banner ? Oh yeah, I remember, their rights are being violated. Then you do it. As parents who are American and believe in America, what our armed forces protect us from, you teach them.
      Do you know in part why our kids are in so much trouble? It's all and very simply boils down to respect. Without that kids are running like a bunch of crossed wires and we know what happens when wires get crossed. This is our country and while we all complain about what's wrong, what are we doing to try, at least try to make it better? Do we go up to school to check on how the kids are doing? It isn't all on report cards ya know, Yes, I know people work, but how often are those school meetings? How long will your child live and you do want them to have a good life right?
      So start now. Teach the basics that aren't being taught in school. No matter what your feelings are about the separation of Church and state, we were still better off with prayer in school, grace before meals, night time prayers,  and kids asking forgiveness. Now they just ask for a lawyer. Yeah, they know their rights alright, after all, they live in America.

Is Anyone Home? Borders ....

     This can of course have two meanings, but for now, what I'm talking about again, yes again, is buying American. Do you miss Borders? I do. Maybe you don't miss Borders if you just don't enjoy reading, or meeting up with friends, magazines, music, educational toys and new authors, local authors who give people some encouragement and don't charge a half a mil to come see them plus buy a book.
     IS anyone home? Is anyone listening? I know you think like so many, what can one person do? Well one and one are two, and so on. One can multiply until we bring American standards back to where it belongs!  Or do we wait until one morning we wake up and some guy carrying a red circle flag is telling us when to go to the bathroom. Remember the recent Olympics? Our own dressed in clothes made in China!!!   Carrying this too far?y? Not on your American life!

American Made Companies, Shop America

     Hello everyone! I've decided to make it my mission to try to post every day at least one American Company, like Bed Bath and Beyond. Now the only problem I bet is, where do they get their products from? While it B B&B may have started in America, if I recall correctly when having shopped there one time, many items were from countries that use much cheaper labor , resulting in taking away AMERICAN JOBS.
     So My journey is to research American companies that are ALL-AMERICAN.
The other option is and this is important, swap, trade, barter, thrift stores and if you shop as much as you can that way, you are still saving American Dollars.

COME ON PEOPLE, USA Crafters & Christmas

      Let this be the year we stand up for American workers during and anytime at all. If The government won't make a difference it's up to us. STAND UP FOR AMERICA-PASS THE GREEN TO OUR OWN CITIZENS!!!
     
     Before you shop, call stores, saves gas and frustration, ask if they carry whatever it is you're looking for(I'll even help-e mail me) and ask if it's American made. Please, I know crafts are a work of art and many times expensive, but isn't freedom always expensive? Buying American is helping to pay for an American economy. Crafters are all over and on line. Let your kid knows the choices this year are only-hand made American. Oh, they'll cry? Whine? They'll say but my friends will get...too bad, after all who is the parent and what future do you want for your children? Shop now for Christmas. Being Homeless & Michelle Obama

       Tonight like many nights Michelle Obama come on with a plea to help Haiti. I get it. I get the ripple effect of helping other countries,( learned one day at church) but just then I also thought why doesn't she make a plea for the people here in the United States. This isn't about a certain party, but about people.
       Just then my thoughts were interrupted by a boy who's been living here telling me he broke the tub faucet. I just said I'll look at it tomorrow, no sense getting angry at a kid who just has too much strength. I do too. Then my thoughts went back to the situations in our country. In seconds Scott Pelly came on with a story about homelessness. The story was so deeply heartbreaking.
     Kids, so many kids, hungry, sleeping in cars, motels, and the first family sleeps in a truck. The dad didn't want to be seen on camera so he let his kids talk. The mother died when the kids were young, so they do get social security death benefits. That's something. The dad worked in construction. I wondered and my mind scattered to thoughts of, could I help? Would I make things worse? Believe it or not, I could. See they live in Florida, so the cold weather is not a factor.
       I thought right away, I could invite them to live here until they get on their feet. I figured out the bedroom situation and knew it could work. dad would find work here, yet what if...yes, the what ifs hit me. What if something personal in my life happened as they were just ebbing their way back to a life of regular eating, sleeping in beds, showers, school and work, making friends and all that stuff that comes with family life? They may very well again be out in their truck driving around, looking for a gas station to brush their teeth. I knew I couldn't make it worse, yet I'm still wondering how it could work, and if this is the right time. Could I? A lot of serious thinking to do.
       Do you know how many homeless families there are in the United states since 2007? I don't either but many live for a reason in the warmer climates. Maybe I could just have them here for a few weeks. I just don't know. Would it help?

Unsolicited Mail-You're getting it back! See Bottom

       People come on, let's stick together. Let's send it back. Either write on it asap, return to sender/sender unknown, or pack it all up in one envelope and once a month send it to one of those annoying ad companies that send to you. I know, I know, all ya have to do is take your name off a list. Well I am trying, but in the meantime, I continue to get mail from places I never even heard of, and they are getting it back!
      The poor mail carriers have to carry all that junk. As "they" say, they're outta be a law. Companies should only be allowed to send to those who they do business with, and not more than one mailing a month. How many times, how many times I say do we have to get mail from a furniture store that says, year end closing, discounts, twenty-percent off after they raised it twenty-five percent, and then get this one...going out of business! So when you go in and ask when they're going out of business, its either, well when the lease is up  or, I think at the end of the year and its only January. Save your money, screw the sales, take yourself on a vacation and spend time with people you want to be with. You should even give it away before selling out to those greedy business owners.( not all) Look at where you can donate it before buying a new sofa:
   St. Jude's, The American Heart Aassociation, Cancer, Juvenile Diabetes, Juvenile Arthritis and so many more. Kids are hungry in America,  need health care, dental treatment and so much more, so before you buy into a year end sale, invest in a child.
