Congressman/Women, Glorified Welfare

Everyone is aware of the cycle of welfare with many families. I'm not writing about those in serious need. Isn't the cycle of our congress the same? Do those on welfare work ? Some do under the table because of need to supplement their needs, just like congress who sleep during sessions. They're supplementing their needs. Have you ever watched a law take effect? Have you read what is supped to be read to make a law?  I have. I've done that with a foster son.
I took him to visit a congressman from Philadelphia with an appointment. We were expected. I bought this child a new suit, shoes, took him to a barber and had the congressman's initials carved into the side, shaved into the side of his hair. This was an African American congressman as was the child who was thirteen.  I was looking for a role model. But what I found was a man who ended up by saying basically, I can't use him because you said I can't use his picture. If a child is with Children and youth, their photo cannot be used for publicity. That congressman has since been arrested.
Back to GLORIFIED Welfare and Congress. They call it term limits. I call is a cycle of abuse!
They collect without little giving back. They take and take and take, long after they retire or resign. They're families receive benefits ! When will it stop ? It won't. Like Welfare, until someone puts a stop to it, this is what we get.
Both receivers are like a team and both want more, never satisfied to the entitlements they get and they always want more. This is why congress has a heart for Welfare. They understand very well the cycle of accepting freebies.
Many won't read this or even care but those who do and want to do something need to vote out every freeloading congressman and woman and start fresh. Yes, I know there are a few good people working for the US, but so what ! Don't give them a chance to become welfare accepting in congress. Vote new people in who will work for what they get and if we don't see changes in their two years, out they go! Don't take any BS like well it takes more than two years for change!  IT doesn't and you know it. How soon does it take for them to vote raises in for themselves? A few weeks?
Remember this is only the high end of Welfare Glorified ! They have all of the they want, need, and so much more. They don't wait to see a doctor, kids go to the best schools, drive great cars, live in fine homes, have maids, wear fancy eyeglasses-no I'm not being petty but realistic. They don't save for a vacation, stay in cheap motels, have to do without a/c or heating. Their dental needs are easily met, not waiting for  a dentist who might see them if they have enough money or insurance. If their car breaks down, they fix it. It doesn't sit until they can afford. These people are the WEALTHY WELFARE-The CYCLE of using and abusing the system they set up for themselves ! Vote them all out!

Leftists leave carnage behind in DC

Who is paying for the destruction? I sincerely hope the IRS holds onto any refunds of anyone who was arrested, holds welfare checks for months and holds anyones cash benefits of any kind if they were caught and arrested. Why do taxpayers have to keep paying for rioters.
SUGGESTION:  Police need to prepare with hoses loaded with red dye and or mace in order to catch rioters so they can lock them up, check out backgrounds, and grab any money by attaching wages, benefits, IRS income refunds, homes, autos etc. Its time we the PEOPLE hit them back-where it hurts !!!

Welfare, Financial Education $$$$ Receipients

Maybe others have thought of this before but I never heard it until tonight. I have heard about a back to work program, free college, drug testing, free babysitting, free bus tickets and repeating the family welfare cycle but never anything about teaching people on welfare how to manage money.
Many, many of us could use that but who better than those who rely on public assistance to receive training on financial education ? My son's wife came up with this. Great going Kelly ! A young working woman now with two boys and a stay at home hubby, also part-time photographer, does very well with financial management considering all unexpected things life gives and takes to and with us all :

  • she uses what she has for sometimes more than one purpose, recycles
  • consignment shops
  • buys gently used
  • exchanges and welcomes new ideas
  • sews - a very good help
  • has a circle of supportive friends
  • a great husband-and I know many are single, so use a man in your home church, home town, a friends husband, for small repairs
  • join a church
  • stay in the community where you can give, share and receive help
  • start or be part of community gardening
  • pray
These are just a few things that come to mind in addition to a better suggestion from Kelly that those on Welfare should receive financial training so the next time you shop, before that you will have made a meal plan, one that is nutritious, then a list from that plan and your money will be well spent. The next time you plan on shopping for kids clothes, check out friends to exchange with, Church stores offer free kids clothes, as well as the Salvation Army and craigslist.

America Needs To...Answers

Come to terms that we are not doing better. Like a blender we are a nation of immigrants but that shouldn't mean we allow people amnesty for ten years who came here illegally, so do what's needed and close the borders. But I know if that does happen the business of immigration will be so much less and the DEA will not need as many security guards and drug dogs, all equaling money.
Farmers in California want the immigrants because of low pay. Here's my answer to that. We had or have civil service when young men and women wanted to go overseas to help in impoverished countries. So why not do that here, but in another way.
High School and college students in their last years of programs should have to do internships in community services, but get paid the same as the Immigrants were/are being paid. If it starts in high school the purpose it serves is an OMG, if I don't do better this is my life. Maybe start that in the third year of high school.
DRUGS-Those who are picked up for drug trafficking will serve time in the fields. They will receive credit for time served depending on how well they perform the duties of picking fruits and vegetables. If they don't show, they go to a local jail/reform program and then are taken to the fields.
Drug Addicts-okay we don't want them puking on the crops, so the first thirty-ninety days in jail or a program and then field time, or work in food banks, or missions, cleaning streets, toilets etc. to show them where their life is going.
Pimps-First timers. One year in jail.
Prostitutes- six months in jail and six months working in fields.
This same type of work can work across the criminal board.
Make the crime work. Kids also need criminal punishment. Lets start with having them work in the school they are in as part of a work/giving back program. They can also receive a certain amount of credit when they do extra well.
We're not doing better. Too many are still on family generational welfare, food stamps, medical. Yes, I know many need it, but when I see a single young man or woman, without children or responsibilities other than self support leaning on the government, when they could be working two jobs, they too need some field jobs. If they tell a caseworker, but I can't find a job, That caseworker should say, well we have a cleaning job for you...and of course the client answer will be, oh no I can't do that. The caseworker answer should be a one time, no second chances, oh honey I understand and as she watches the smile come across the clients face, simply tell them, case closed.
