I have a  family member who told me, that's all we need,  some crazy guy in the white house-well to me, better than, much better than and a real man for AMERICA, not hiding behind his religion protecting those who bring harm to citizens. Chinese OWN WALDORF ASTORIA ???

                 Well I won't be staying there again. It is-was a great hotel and I loved my visits there with my daughter and niece, but from now on, I want to know who owns the New York City Hotels. Better yet, maybe I'll stay away anyway as China is buying up so much New York property, they might as well hang out there own flag. Let's see who will take that down !!!
     Obama won't stay there because his protectors feel there may be bugs because the Chinese own it. Are they nuts? Don't they know yet if people want to bug a hotel room they will and can and no one will stop them? They photos shown on TV make it look as if Obama is staying at Trumps hotel by the Park, now that's classy. They can both talk about Hillary.
   I just have to add this;It's too bad all of these brilliant men and women and many they are, can't
 figure a way to take care of the national debt, ISIS, Hillary, crooked politicians, dope, illegal immigrants and anything else that comes up, but no, they would rather feed their own egos and attack each other. Now imagine that happening in China, or at The Waldorf Astoria?

Obama and Dr. Ben Carson

       As you see in the title, my respect lies with Dr. Carson. The difference is when Dr. Carson becomes President he will be the real first Black President, first African American President ! As we all know Obama is Bi-racial, inter racial what ever title you want to use to describe which is generational.
    Still too early to tell, but I am in line with Dr. Carson, Donald Trump, Chris Christie, Judge Pirro, not in that order.
         Who ever votes for Hillary should go to jail with her. How do we as a UNITED STATEs even allow someone with her lack of moral character, her lies, her past political history along with Billy Boy Clinton who lied about Monica, degrading her and yes I know she did it to herself, so we have Billy boy who also degraded the white house and people want him in again? Maybe this time Hillary will invite Monica for Billy.
    These people like Hillary stand up for the so called minorities only to get a vote. Will they also buy them homes to really help them, get jobs for them, pay for Automobiles, invite home for sinner? I doubt it.

I seriously believe Dr. Carson would do those things as he can and in individual situations . Trump, half and half, same with the rest, maybe Christie. I love Pirro, doubt she'll run, enjoys fashion and cameras, selfies too much, but what great judge and political person!  Maybe Greta Van a Susterern?

Dear Ben Carson= Freedom !

        Hello Dr./Mr President Carson

                          Years ago as a foster mom, I used your story for a child I had in foster care. He is black, and has lived in so many homes, no black male role model to look up to. So I kind of made up a story about Sidney Poitier, how he dressed as a young man, found a pair of shoes in a window, left his family behind in the Caribbean so he "could Make it in America" and how one day he saw a pair of shoes he loved, would do anything for them, heard about acting and in small town America, was given a script to read. He got on stage and made things up because he couldn't read. All of this I made up. Then in that story I said Sidney went into a diner. A man sat in the back corner booth reading a paper, a white guy who owned the diner.
     Sidney watched as he read, turned he pages, laughed, grimaced and finally Sidney asked the man to teach him to read and he would do anything for that. They came to an agreement that Sidney would work as many hours as the man wanted washing dishes, cleaning and anything that came up. Sidney added how he wanted to buy a pair of shoes.
      Over the next several months the owner watched how hard Sidney worked to learn to read and buy a pair of shoes. The day finally came. Sidney could read, not great, but he could and asked the man for the money for shoes. The man said, I never promised you money, just shoes and had Sidney walk with him to the store. The man respected Sidney so much, they walked and talked about each others family, education, and being black. Arriving at the store Sidney sees the shoes are gone. The man says, don't worry, they have plenty. The man introduces Sidney to the store keeper, Arnie. Arnie reaches out to grasp Sidneys' hand and Sidney pulls back, uncertain. Its okay says the diner owner. They shake hands and Arnie says, come here Sidney. He opens a curtain, and there hanging are two suits, one very casual and one a dress suit with shirts, ties, belts, and two pairs of shoes. There were also under wear. Sidney sat and cried.
        Those three men forever stayed friends, out of trust and respect. To repeat myself, I made all of that up for  a kid. But then I decided to take him to Washington to meet a congressman, the real deal to show this child who he too cab become. The congressman promised him all kinds of things, then he wanted to use the boys' picture for a new law they were making about siblings seeing each other more. This  kid had eleven siblings, nine in care. When I told the congressman he can't use his picture because the child was through Children and youth, just about everything stopped, including promises of a team sweatshirt.
    The kids' birthday comes around and by now he is living in  a residential home. I called, we talked and he never received a thing. I called the congressmans' office, Chaka Fattah something from Philly. His Secretary answered and I told her I would go to the papers because of that lack of action. She asked for the kids address and sent him a pencil and pad. !
      Real life or make believe? What would you want? Then I saw your story as a kid and the boy...well I let him move in with me again a few years later and I think, not sure there was a Christian movie about you or a library book. Either way, he knew about you but felt too far for him to reach and still preferred Sidney' Poitier's made up story asking me if I thought he could get that far. Sure, why not?
     Doctor Carson, America is looking at you and fools that we are may end up voting for more of the same because we don't see the passion in you that we see in Judge Pirro or D. Trump. I think you are just a careful common sense man and I pray you make it. If you don't, Judge Pirro doesn't look like shes running, but maybe Trump or Christie?
    I believe your life is as valuable as you believe every one's life is and you would really be the First Black president as Mr. Obama is the first Bi Racial. Sadly I have lost respect for all governing people. They take and take We have elderly who are not taken cared of and a law now passed allows illegal immigrants to receive medical care, get an education,  Disability, and more than immigrants who come here by way of waiting, following rules, obeying the law, shoved aside as Americans who are born here. This is not the AMERICA I knew.

Prison Healthcare Better Than....

            How and why is it if you're a criminal you receive better health care that law abiding citizens? Just saw an episode of a male who was over 400 pounds, received a special diet, insulin twice a day and had a guard who became his personal trainer. Next the dentist. In our country you can earn just enough to not have dental insurance, but commit a crime and let prison fix your teeth.

     Prisons also have the highest rate of suicides and attempted suicides. They are monitored more often now. Why? Because families will sue. This is the population of people who are brave enough to beat up, kill, rape, torture, molest, rob and commit any type of a crime decent hard working people wouldn't dare do. Decent people who work and strive every day to get by are the brave people, everyone else a coward. Oh, want to know why this latest piece of trash tried suicide? He stated he was lonely, and everyone spoke English, not Spanish, and others had visitors, but no one came to see him. Doesn't that make your heart bleed? Too bad he didn't think of that, prior to prison. Oh but isn't it amazing, this creep can write in English.

       Our Systems are so screwed up and backwards. A health plan didn't have to be created for them. Congress didn't have to pass a law for them. Child molesters are protected ? Why ? Who protected the children? Prisoners who abuse, and torture children are kept apart from the regular population. I just don't get it, yet I know, they too are someones child, adult though they may be. Now they are protected.

They should have been in an employment line.

Where/Who is Antonio Santiago's President

       When Obama stood up, weather pressured or not as Tavis Smiley stated, the fact is he did stand up for Trayvon Martin. That's fine, but why didn't he stand up also for baby Antonio Santiago? Is this because its his last term in office? Everyone has an opinion and I'm no different. Why didn't he individually stand up for each and everyone who is murdered in this country every day. He chose this teen as a black representation of wrongdoing by a Peurto Rican. IF he didn't would his constituents support him after office in any manner he chooses to pursue? Did he really say what he felt? I doubt it.
        But imagine if every time a killing happened and whatever race was the injured party, that race rioted, protested, got so called reverends (Sharptonw/ Tawana Brawley) involved. Yeah that's who you want. Why aren't we looking deep enough into cause and justice? How come the justice system sets OJ free for murder but two kids who shoot a baby in the face killing him get to serve a term in jail with all of the tax payers money supporting them up the wazoo.
         Sure it's the jury. They are afraid of riots in many cases and places. With Zimmerman they probably thought, well he's not white so this is different. Sure is. Obama got involved, but poor Baby Santiago wasn't worth an acknowledgement of Obama. Zimmerman should have been arrested for disobeying a police order at the scene. If he obeyed, that kid would be alive today.

At the risk of offending some, I will, nonetheless send this on as it explains exactly why I voted for Romney. I truly am frightened for my country and this cleric has stated it better than I could. I really believe that we are "sunk" if Hillary follows .There would be more programs, some already entrenched, that will keep my grandchildren from knowing the wonderful country in which I was raised. I am old, but my heart cries for the young peoples future.

This is excellent, but is a sad place to be. Please Read to the end. We Are Not Coming Back Please take a moment to digest this provocative article by a Jewish Rabbifrom Teaneck , N.J. It is far and away the most succinct and thoughtful explanation of how our nation is changing. The article appeared in The Israel National News, and is directed to Jewish readership. 70% of American Jews vote as Democrats. The Rabbi has some interesting comments in that regard. Rabbi Steven Pruzansky is the spiritual leader of Congregation Bnai Yeshurun in Teaneck, New Jersey ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "The most charitable way of explaining the election results of 2012 is that Americans voted for the status quo - for the incumbent President and for a divided Congress. They must enjoy gridlock, partisanship, incompetence, economic stagnation and avoidance of responsibility. And fewer people voted. But as we awake from the nightmare, it is important to eschew the facile explanations for the Romney defeat that will prevail among the chattering classes. Romney did not lose because of the effects of Hurricane Sandy that devastated this area, nor did he lose because he ran a poor campaign, nor did he lose because the Republicans could have chosen better candidates, nor did he lose because Obama benefited from a slight uptick in the economy due to the business cycle. Romney lost because he didn't get enough votes to win. That might seem obvious, but not for the obvious reasons. Romney lost because the conservative virtues - the traditional American virtues – of liberty, hard work, free enterprise, private initiative and aspirations to moral greatness - no longer inspire or animate a majority of the electorate. The simplest reason why Romney lost was because it is impossible to compete against free stuff. Obama's America is one in which free stuff is given away: the adults among the 47,000,000 on food stamps clearly recognized for whom they should vote, and so they did, by the tens of millions; those who - courtesy of Obama - receive two full years of unemployment benefits (which, of course, both disincentivizes looking for work and also motivates people to work off the books while collecting their windfall) surely know for whom to vote. The lure of free stuff is irresistible. The defining moment of the whole campaign was the revelation of the secretly-recorded video in which Romney acknowledged the difficulty of winning an election in which "47% of the people" start off against him because they pay no taxes and just receive money - "free stuff" - from the government. Almost half of the population has no skin in the game - they don't care about high taxes, promoting business, or creating jobs, nor do they care that the money for their free stuff is being borrowed from their children and from the Chinese. They just want the free stuff that comes their way at someone else's expense. In the end, that 47% leaves very little margin for error for any Republican, and does not bode well for the future. It is impossible to imagine a conservative candidate winning against such overwhelming odds. People do vote their pocketbooks. In essence, the people vote for a Congress who will not raise their taxes, and for a President who will give them free stuff, never mind who has to pay for it. That engenders the second reason why Romney lost: the inescapable conclusion that the electorate is ignorant and uninformed. Indeed, it does not pay to be an informed voter, because most other voters - the clear majority – are unintelligent and easily swayed by emotion and raw populism. That is the indelicate way of saying that too many people vote with their hearts and not their heads. That is why Obama did not have to produce a second term agenda, or even defend his first-term record. He needed only to portray Mitt Romney as a rapacious capitalist who throws elderly women over a cliff, when he is not just snatching away their cancer medication, while starving the poor and cutting taxes for the rich. During his 1956 presidential campaign, a woman called out to Adlai Stevenson: "Senator, you have the vote of every thinking person!" Stevenson called back: "That's not enough, madam, we need a majority!" Truer words were never spoken. Obama could get away with saying that "Romney wants the rich to play by a different set of rules" - without ever defining what those different rules were; with saying that the "rich should pay their fair share" - without ever defining what a "fair share" is; with saying that Romney wants the poor, elderly and sick to "fend for themselves" - without even acknowledging that all these government programs are going bankrupt, their current insolvency only papered over by deficit spending. Similarly, Obama (or his surrogates) could hint to blacks that a Romney victory would lead them back into chains and proclaim to women that their abortions and birth control would be taken away. He could appeal to Hispanics that Romney would have them all arrested and shipped to Mexico and unabashedly state that he will not enforce the current immigration laws. He could espouse the furtherance of the incestuous relationship between governments and unions - in which politicians ply the unions with public money, in exchange for which the unions provide the politicians with votes, in exchange for which the politicians provide more money and the unions provide more votes, etc., even though the money is gone. Obama also knows that the electorate has changed - that whites will soon be a minority in America (they're already a minority in California) and that the new immigrants to the US are primarily from the Third World and do not share the traditional American values that attracted immigrants in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is a different world, and a different America . Obama is part of that different America , knows it, and knows how to tap into it. That is why he won. Obama also proved again that negative advertising works, invective sells, and harsh personal attacks succeed. That Romney never engaged in such diatribes points to his essential goodness as a person; his "negative ads" were simple facts, never personal abuse - facts about high unemployment, lower take-home pay, a loss of American power and prestige abroad, a lack of leadership, etc. As a politician, though, Romney failed because he did not embrace the devil's bargain of making unsustainable promises. It turned out that it was not possible for Romney and Ryan - people of substance, depth and ideas - to compete with the shallow populism and platitudes of their opponents. Obama mastered the politics of envy – of class warfare - never reaching out to Americans as such but to individual groups, and cobbling together a winning majority from these minority groups. If an Obama could not be defeated - with his record and his vision of America , in which free stuff seduces voters - it is hard to envision any change in the future. The road to Hillary Clinton in 2016 and to a European-socialist economy - those very economies that are collapsing today in Europe - is paved. For Jews, mostly assimilated anyway and staunch Democrats, the results demonstrate again that liberalism is their Torah. Almost 70% voted for a president widely perceived by Israelis and most committed Jews as hostile to Israel . They voted to secure Obama's future at America 's expense and at Israel 's expense - in effect, preferring Obama to Netanyahu by a wide margin. A dangerous time is ahead. Under present circumstances, it is inconceivable that the US will take any aggressive action against Iran and will more likely thwart any Israeli initiative. The US will preach the importance of negotiations up until the production of the first Iranian nuclear weapon - and then state that the world must learn to live with this new reality. But this election should be a wake-up call to Jews. There is no permanent empire, nor is there an enduring haven for Jews anywhere in the exile. The American empire began to decline in 2007, and the deterioration has been exacerbated in the last five years. This election only hastens that decline. Society is permeated with sloth, greed, envy and materialistic excess. It has lost its moorings and its moral foundations.. The takers outnumber the givers, and that will only increase in years to come. The "Occupy" riots across this country in the last two years were mere dress rehearsals for what lies ahead - years of unrest sparked by the increasing discontent of the unsuccessful who want to seize the fruits and the bounty of the successful, and do not appreciate the slow pace of redistribution. If this election proves one thing, it is that the Old America is gone. And, sad for the world, it is not coming back." -- The problems we face today are there because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by those who vote for a living.

 

Can we become better Voters and how..what a mess

      Too many don't vote and yeah, ya heard that before so what do we do to improve the how's and whys of who we do vote for when we do? I know I have to improve a whole lot. Politicians go back and forth with promises, so who do we believe? We are five trillion more in debt that we were almost four years ago.

    How is it we are loaning money to other countries? Who's to blame for that? So we send money to other countries and then hear talks about cutting medicare, educational programs, the most two important things not to cut!

    I heard Mrs. Obama say, Barrack doesn't care about how much money you make, he cares about how you help one another! So is that why we are still losing jobs? He doesn't care about the money you make? Did I misunderstand?  I guess that could be take a couple of ways. I don't care what a person earns, but care they earn enough to support themselves, a family and a few niceties in life . When you care about people, you care about the whole person!
   This sounds like I'm against Obama doesn't it? I'm just not for him, but am for a new President and do wish we had better choices. Mitt? Well he did do very well for himself and others in business and yes I heard a all about a company that went belly-up. Does that compare to putting out country five more trillion in debt and affecting the whole USA? Where are the jobs? Hey you millionaires.. you say you love this country so do everyone a favor, create jobs. God knows we can use them.
   In the coming election I am going to make it my business to learn more. No matter how old or young you are, you can learn about those not doing in office what you elected them to do. Every two years you have a chance to throw the bums out, male and female if they don't own up to promises. Well, my fat fingers hurt, so gotta go. Raisin bran awaits, love that stuff....

Obama's friends, Other Countries?

    I am listening to Face The Nation, and I am not against Obama, yet not for him, but have listened to many people off an on for and against, also weighed in on Mitt Romney. Something one of the politicians said this morning who is for Obama,  it was Bill Richardson who said other countries love President Obama and want to see him remain in office.
     Shouldn't it be our Country Loves him and wants to see him stay in office? Who was it Obama was whispering to," wait Until after election"
    I know all of these politicians have secrets and all of them I do believe lie to get the vote, so how do we discern? How do we vote for who is the best person?
  Can someone answer that? I won't vote Obama, yet I also don't feel one hundred percent about Mitt either...Hey Little guy, where are you? You know who we need? The Governor of New Mexico...first woman president, first person who is truly interested in the good for all.
