Can we become better Voters and how..what a mess

      Too many don't vote and yeah, ya heard that before so what do we do to improve the how's and whys of who we do vote for when we do? I know I have to improve a whole lot. Politicians go back and forth with promises, so who do we believe? We are five trillion more in debt that we were almost four years ago.

    How is it we are loaning money to other countries? Who's to blame for that? So we send money to other countries and then hear talks about cutting medicare, educational programs, the most two important things not to cut!

    I heard Mrs. Obama say, Barrack doesn't care about how much money you make, he cares about how you help one another! So is that why we are still losing jobs? He doesn't care about the money you make? Did I misunderstand?  I guess that could be take a couple of ways. I don't care what a person earns, but care they earn enough to support themselves, a family and a few niceties in life . When you care about people, you care about the whole person!
   This sounds like I'm against Obama doesn't it? I'm just not for him, but am for a new President and do wish we had better choices. Mitt? Well he did do very well for himself and others in business and yes I heard a all about a company that went belly-up. Does that compare to putting out country five more trillion in debt and affecting the whole USA? Where are the jobs? Hey you millionaires.. you say you love this country so do everyone a favor, create jobs. God knows we can use them.
   In the coming election I am going to make it my business to learn more. No matter how old or young you are, you can learn about those not doing in office what you elected them to do. Every two years you have a chance to throw the bums out, male and female if they don't own up to promises. Well, my fat fingers hurt, so gotta go. Raisin bran awaits, love that stuff....

Obama's friends, Other Countries?

    I am listening to Face The Nation, and I am not against Obama, yet not for him, but have listened to many people off an on for and against, also weighed in on Mitt Romney. Something one of the politicians said this morning who is for Obama,  it was Bill Richardson who said other countries love President Obama and want to see him remain in office.
     Shouldn't it be our Country Loves him and wants to see him stay in office? Who was it Obama was whispering to," wait Until after election"
    I know all of these politicians have secrets and all of them I do believe lie to get the vote, so how do we discern? How do we vote for who is the best person?
  Can someone answer that? I won't vote Obama, yet I also don't feel one hundred percent about Mitt either...Hey Little guy, where are you? You know who we need? The Governor of New Mexico...first woman president, first person who is truly interested in the good for all.

Mormons, Missionaries and Mitt

       I remember the first time I told my brother I attended a Mormon church. He did a high pitch sound saying, ahh, no they're a cult! Well I looked into his church and it appears to be along the same lines.
      As a person who grew up in New York I felt fortunate in some ways to have a father who was a bigot. I'm sure you'll understand this parents. It's when you tell your child no, and of course they want a yes, so they explore, break rules and seek out the why of the no. That's what I always did, secretly of course. My best adult friend on my block was a man who was Jewish, and my best male friend in school was Italian Catholic and I remember even younger than those days, about ten years old a man who was Spanish and looked just like Zorro on TV, well I was attracted to him, and yes at ten. But he was kind and always when not working sat on his stoop, and smoked, talked to a few neighbors. He would let me talk for a little while, but never sit, said it was improper and then make me cross the street and go home. I was to be afraid of him because of his culture according to good ol', well my male parent.
    That's how "I" went all of my life. If people talk against it, I want to know why personally, not to simply believe. So to the Mormons. My experiences were positive and I used to feel a certain jealousy knowing and seeing how healthy they are, and how they live their life. No smoking and alcohol is out. So what some say and sure that's fine, but can't we at least take the positives and put them to good use. I know plenty of Christians who smoke and drink. Check out the missionaries. How many Christian kids and other faiths do what they do?
    Get off your high horse, I am not knocking Christianity, but believe in it. Yet when the Bible talks of one faith, I see why. We need some of the other religions.
I used to wish I started out as a Mormon.  I loved the Jewish faith, can't say much about Catholics, just ill informed as well as with other religions except the Seventh Day Adventists, another positive way of life and faith. I lived with the Amish as a very young kid and wished then to stay, a very peaceful way of life with much faith as the number one reason to live how they do.
     So now we come to Mitt. So what if he's a Mormon? Go check them out. Invite the missionaries to your home. Sure they'd love you to switch, but that's part of the reason for the work they do. Don't many faiths try to have people swim to their side?

Who Is Your American Idol ? Money, Jesus, Politics, Fame

       Yes I watch American Idol, but I do jump around a lot as much of it lately I can't stand, as in the screaming. Why do singers feel as if they have to scream when they sing? Oh well and the audience...they are all waving their hands back and forth in the air, no matter what tempo the music is. Talk about annoying. So I check out other channels.
       Then I see a preacher whose name I now forget. He is very large in size and has a son who preaches too. Of course that's the thing with TV evangelists. I have a  hard time listening to a preacher who also shouts at people as if their deaf. Maybe because they/we don't listen, but then again neither does he. He talks about discipline a lot. He is about two hundred pounds overweight!
      I am partial to Charles Stanley. He is a teacher preacher, soft spoken and gets the point across without screaming and pounding us to death with his fist on a lectern.
      Politicians. Enough said. I wish. Who do you trust? One man, Santorum talks God a lot. Does he mean it? Does that make him better? One, Romney is a Mormon. Many said being a Mormon is part of a cult but what do Mormons say about Christians. Do you know they call Christians, "savvies"? Then we have the little guy which I feel very certain why he isn't getting the vote. We live in a vain society. Gotta be good looking and tall to get elected. Period. I gotta tell ya when I saw his name on a bumper sticker, Vote for Ron Paul, on a lady's car who I didn't care, for I was sure he had to be, not such a  good guy.Then I listened to him talk. For a little guy his words are as deep and sincere as the ocean.
     I thought Ron Paul was part of some weird movement as this lady is weird, but then again so am I and who am I to talk:)? Oh yeah we also have Newt with NEW WIVES-Yes I am against him for that reason. I'm not against a man being elected because he's rich. Look how many Kennedy's got into office. People loved them and they were whore men, lived rich lives, didn't talk about it, but sure lived it in the public eye, even in the eyes of their wives.
     So it will come down to Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum, I hope. We need a new president. Maybe use Jesus as an example. Did Rick or Mitt volunteer as they were climbing the ladder, where and how. Did they help people What were their donations. Santorum said he donates less because he has a sick child. True and now says he will donate more-but Rick, she is still sick! He should defend what he wants to donate. Mitt, I just don't know about you except when I hear you on late night talk shows you are a better speaker. Too bad we couldn't hear these guys at home.  Where is the real man? Toilet paper anyone?

What Romney should do with his 10,000.

     Imagine what we all could do with ten thousand bucks and how easy it is for some to want to bet that amount. Yes it went viral and who is asking, is that how you set an example of what a Christian man is? So here are a few ideas Mitt of what you can do with ten thousand:
    Donate it to St.Jude
    Open a small business for kids in crisis-kids would work it, gain self worth with learning business how to's
    Donate to Cancer-the American Heart Association
    Donate to the local food
    Add more to this list-next time Mitt open your wallet, not your mouth
