Rev. Joe and The Road Crew- MTA- Donations

This book was recently finished and two dollars from each sale goes to AML Leukemia and St. Judes children research hospital. It takes place in Brooklyn, Long ISland and some in Staten ISland. Some parts are fiction mixed with non-fiction. Aunt Sandy is a riot here as she tells it like it is and one of the Crew  is a guy named Kevin, after her late son who died from AML. I think he just turned 40 when he passed away. Sandy husband, Kevins dad died two days before Kevin. That part is true.
I took this book to the MTA in Staten Island this past Monday the 22nd of August 2016. Sandy and I were told the union rep would come down to see us. Not only did he not come down, but neither did the guy who told us that. We were completely dismissed/ignored by the MTA in Staten Island on Castleton ave.
Not looking t make a million, just some to give to AML- This type of Leukemia affects more people in Kevins age group more than any other group, so did the MTA forget what RESPECT means? Kevins mom has not even had a chance to properly grieve as she lost everything when she lost her husband and son. She lost her home, her car and became homeless, now living in an awful situation whee she does at least have a jail cell size room. This is a lady past 70 years old.
Please buy one book or two. You can purchase it through paypal. Simply go to PAYPAL, look up my PAYPAL name, Doozybags and pay 13.99 plus 1.25 s&h Your address comes through and I will mail it out within three days.

Thank You

CANCER's Common CONNECTION to us ALL

Of course I'm not a doctor, but after a chat tonight with a young woman at a local bank, with her telling me her mom is dying, stage four cancer which has traveled throughout her body, I, well, we shared stories of all kinds. I gave her two funny stories which lifted her up for just a little while. Imagine have to be nice to the public when your mom is dying. Her mom is eighty-two and many might say, well she lived a good long life. Hey! When it's your mom or dad or someone you love, it's never long enough.
While we talked she made me promise to get my cough checked out, saying that was how they discovered her mom had cancer. My friend told me the same thing about three years ago. I had a cold, but I will get a check-up after New Year. There is also a test called CA125-I am asking for it. CA 125 is a test to find cancer and most doctors do not tell you about it, so go, get it done.

So who gets cancer? Anyone. We have attributed cancer to smoking, asbestos, alcohol, work environment, pollution etc. But we don't all have that in common.
************************This is only my point of view************

Food! Food ! Food ! WE ALL EAT!!!
So lets start with that and see where this goes without me going on and on. Please take time and look up BLUE ZONES-I know, I know, people will say, but I can't afford to eat healthy which was my old state of mind too. When we do little in life, like watch TV, lay around on the sofa, read books on the sofa , talk on the phone, on the sofa, we are not getting out.
Second-I bought 5 oranges the other day at 1.00 each-compare that to a stop at a local store and buying a cup off coffee or a candy bar. CANCERS love that stuff and feed on  it. Anything that is bad for your body cancer attacks it like a vacuum cleaner picks up dirt. So work a budget and plan meals.Ask for help in doing that and yes, poor, very poor people make pots of pasta, potatoes, rice and load it with expensive butter, salt, gravy etc.
Third-while you start to plan meals and shop for those meals, remember to get out, walk, ask someone for a bike, ride, feel the wind in your face. Gyms have scholarships but get out. Do for others. There are exchange groups, free helps, some are called Time Banking-Hour World. There is help to help you do better.
Fourth-if it isn't food, what is it that causes cancer when the one thing that everyone has in common in this world is food.  How many who die of cancer don't smoke, don't work in pollution, don't work around asbestos and don't drink, so what is it? In My opinion it has to be Food. PLEASE get a movie called FORKS OVER KNIVES, study BLUE ZONES and change what you put inside your mouth because cancer is waiting. We all have cancers in our body which lay dormant and then we feed those cancer cells. Why they explode in some and not others may just be a matter of time and maybe if we're lucky those horrible cells will pass us by, so why not play it safe now. EAT TO LIVE.
Before you search I will tell you Blue Zones are areas in the United States and elsewhere where people live and  live very long and healthy lives. WHY. Here goes: THEY don't eat SHIT!

Want To Be SIck ? Empty Hospitals now.

Imagine having to go to a hospital emergency and it's almost empty every day of the week, every weekend night with the exception of a bunch of bums who get into fights, someone misusing a chainsaw, or a kid who broke an arm?

I have seen this movie a few times and it isn't easy at first, well it was the first time I saw it. I went home and dumped all the crap in my fridge and cabinets that were making me feel like sludge !
Then a big stressor came into my life and I turned back to all the crappy food I was used to eating all my life.
Let's put things in perspective for arguments sake:
People say, people always got cancer
People say, People always had heart attacks
People say, Diabetes was always around
              People say, we need medicine
Why do people say all of this and more ? Because they are afraid of change. They are lazy, they think good food is expensive. They say, generations lived for many years eating mashed potatoes, meat and corn. Partly true, but have you been around during those generations ? If you were you will remember ho quickly people died from cancer and heart attacks, and you will also remember the United States never had a diabetes outbreak that we have now and with kids who are dying younger than their parents.
With a change in what you eat as in non toxic fruits and vegetables that haven't been sprayed with poisonous chemicals and with a change in letting go of dairy and meats, you can and will live longer  but most importantly, healthier and happier. Remember that word Gusto ? Gusto comes back like gangbusters.
Get rid of doctor bills, pharmacy bills and medicines and get rid of hospitals. They have have a purpose, but not as they have come to be. Look at a waiting room in a doctors office or hospital. It's almost popular to be sick. People sit around and talk about what's wrong with them. They compare who is worse ! What if you talked about what's right with you ? Just go to the library, get the video, Forks over Knives.
Here is how I started: I already had instant oatmeal, and not the little sugar filled packets. Already had raisins and walnuts, eggs (hard for me to give up) frozen vegetables, frozen berries and protein powder. I started with that. I also had sweet potatoes. These few things became my basic foods to eat every day. I also tarted adding salads with beans of all kinds, even canned. I had to change the taste in my mouth that I was already used to tasting, like a big fat juicy burger or steak. I loooooove mashed potatoes. So I bought some frozen dinners to spoil myself once in a while that had a few teaspoons of mashed, fake potatoes.
It all worked as I lost, 6, 6 7, and 6 pounds each week and I felt so happy. I wasn't thinking about weight loss just feeling mentally and physically good. I called my doctor thinking I had something wrong with me as my jeans were getting so loose. He laughed, reminding me of my new change in eating habits. Whew! Try it and you'll start to throw away blood pressure meds, hypertension, diabetes and on and on. Imagine not seeing your doctor for a year? No more hospitals, no more medicines. Put the money back in your pocket and the health and happiness back in your life ! Watch Forks Over KNIVES

Cancer, Insurance & YOU

Today I saw a woman who looked only Vaguely familiar to me-yet she lives next door to me. She worse a wrapped hat and I felt as if i knew immediately, that poor woman must have cancer. She called out my name and then said, you don't recognize me without hair! She walked over to where I was standing and then told me of her past six months with chemo and dealing with an insurance company. All these years she has been healthy.
She hasn't had to have anything in a way that would start to eat at the insurance but now that they need to pay out, what do they do? They are fighting things. She and I talked before I knew about the insurance company and I asked her if she's home, is insurance taking care of things because so many times I know they won't and social security disability would rather have people die before they start disability payments. It's in the news all the time.
Then she told me, because her doctors want another look, another certain kind of test, the insurance company is giving her a hard time. STRESS is not needed at a time like this. So what does she do? Where and who does she go to, to fight this. I personally think, hand it over to a lawyer. All an insurance company needs is one LEGAL LETTER!!! That is worth all of the aggravation and stress that she doesn't need.
Now as a neighbor, what can I do, or anyone? I can pray, but I can't insert myself into her battle other than let her know, if she needs a ride, if she needs someone to get meds or anything-call me. That's what you can do too and offer to make dinners if needed or not. Buy a gas card if she's too proud  to ask for a ride or anything else and just slip it into an envelope and hand it to her or mail it.
Finally I don't know which insurance is giving this lady a bad time, but remember the phrase, There but for the grace of God go I.

It Only Takes You

How much we have or how little we have, we have a lot if someone loves us, if everyone has reasonably good health and if you haven't recently lost someone, then you and I have a lot.  But if any of these things affect you or someone you know, then what do you do? What?
I don't know what really but I do know those who have a real serious faith do much better than those who don't. How do we believe someone is in heaven when they didn't lead a heavenly life you might ask...well, maybe because they had a heavenly heart. Only God really knows.
Right now I know a man who cares for his uncle's needs in many ways and the uncle is in his eighties. This man is fighting cancer, yet he runs, walks, golfs and who knows what more he's doing. The nephews is so proud of his uncle. That's also faith. They just never quit.
Now there are hungry people, and people who simply need a friend. Just be careful how you approach them. People have pride and don't like charity. Yes, I know pride goeth before the fall. Haven't we all tripped one time or another? Still there are also people who are lonely, lonely in their own family and those who are so wealthy they become cold hearted and sometimes the poor are as bad, due to pride, but find a way and not because it's a holiday, but because we are human.
Know too that many people do not have any religious affiliation at all, don't believe in God at all or a higher power. It takes one moment of friendship, one small miracle, one birth, one saved life to show that miracles to come. That works the opposite when someone dies especially a young person. How do you tell a mom or dad and more that there is a purpose to this, much less God had a hand in it? You don't. You let them grieve and talk out as they need to, say what they feel and be there, for  a very long time.
Remember if someone loves you, even if they're not physically close you have more than many, so be more than many to just one person, any day of the year. Here's to you Victoria and Samantha !

How Do You Help Someone Let Go ?

I'm sure we all know someone who has died, or is dying. Recently talking with a friend in Brooklyn who lost her son and husband two days apart at the end of January this year, I asked her, how she did it, how she helped her son let go.
Her husband died quickly in an accident so no chance to help him. But with her son, she said, I need to, just be there. We have all heard and said that before. Yet we went deeper to her daily trips to the hospital and still working, always working.
She said he too helped her when he told her, mom go to work. She said she was lucky because her job was split between having to be close in the morning and afternoon, so she could visit him during the day in the Manhattan hospital he was in.
Day by day after blood transfusions, bone marrow transfusions it was decided one more transfusion. He had one already, an umbilical cord from a baby. Now he was about to have another and he was up, alert with new, or renewed hope. He had many visitors, hundreds at a fund raising in Staten Island,  and at an MTA Christmas party because he was so loved and thought about.
One day his mom came in and she just sat and waited, talked a little as he waved her over to him. He needed to let go and she needed to let him. He patted his chest for her to put her head on him. He then patted her, whispered how he loved her and his family. Tears fell from her face.
He fell back to sleep and she sat, just being there for him with him and loving him, knowing she had to try to be somewhat  strong, but time for him to stop trying to be strong for everyone else. A few days later he had that second transplant, and peacefully left this world as we know it.

Milk Sweetners added !!!

                                   What are your kids drinking??

We all know stores sell, chocolate milk and strawberry milk but I for one never knew that artificial sweeteners are added to all kinds of milk. All flavors are following this pattern of adding artificial sweeteners and colors !
These things cause problems-Cancer for one is a warning on most sweeteners about cancer and now the milk industry wants to disrupt the balance.  Cows eat who knows what and now the farmers or the Milk industry itself is adding more Crapola !
Here is a link to let yourself be known concerning how you feel about all of the crapola!

Salt & FAT Brain white matter

The latest is as you have probably already heard is salt affects your immune system, triggering MS. Well I knew it helps maintain fat as in keeps you fat, raises blood pressure. I quit salt use about three to four years ago. Many hings raise blood pressure like my favorite start to the day coffee.
Did you know high blood pressure leads to the destruction of white brain matter, causing Alzheimer's? Neither did I until I was told. I  have become more aware of what I eat and drink.
Back to salt triggering MS, so is this like cancer cells? Do we have these diseases in our bodies and it takes an unknown to trigger it. So does this mean we better go all natural? We do need iodine so if you quit salt altogether replace it with sea salt with Iodine or talk to a doctor or herbalist, and just as good, research on your own to see what foods have iodine in them-as I said, the more you eat naturally, the healthier you'll be.
Cancer and now MS is proving this to be true. As mentioned in another blog of mine, we have cancer cells in us, but something triggers them into attack mode. Foods, stress, negative people and more I'm sure. So take care of you and you'll be here to raise your children.

Valerie Harper, Brain Cancer

Today the news was heard concerning Valerie Harper's Terminal Brain Cancer and the prognosis is three months. We all hate that word, Cancer, and I still don't understand why in this great country with all of the scientific research, we haven't found a cure yet. Or have we, but we would give up so much money if a cure is available.
A few months ago a young high school student found a cure for  a certain type of cancer, so why can't grown men and women who have been doing this for years and years with all of the education, money and labs, show the same, why?
Why does a high school kid studying science discover a cure. About a month ago four to six kids were on TV with all of the wonderful discoveries they researched and found cures for. What the hell is going on? Should we put high school students in charge of not only finding the cures, but talking out about them? Where are all of the donations going to? Prove it!

IS the government behind this? I have to believe so. More and more we are learning that we have cancer cell in us, but what we do to our bodies and how we live feeds them or not. It's also more than that, I'm fairly certain, such as where you live, stress levels. Read about the Blue Zones where they have the least amount of cancers and heart attacks anywhere in the world.

Valerie Harper, I sincerely wish something changes, a miracle happens for you and miracles do happen, I believe that. I'm sure you have at least a million prayers going to God for you every day. You deserve a miracle. No one deserves cancer. Valerie Harper you gave so much happiness, joy, laughter and more to millions of viewers for years. I believe we have Angels here on earth and that you are one. It isn't over yet Valerie and your statement about being here now, is something we should all think about. No one else should die from cancer.

HIV Cure Vs. Cancer Cure

Both are very awful yet I guess I have problems knowing or think I know that when aids first came to light it was because a certain group of people that to me it appears medicines have overcome, stopped, halted, frozen in place AIDs. It appears since groups of people are more prone to getting infected with AIDs that research is more dominate for groups of people. Sure many won't like that I write  I feel is true, but the bottom line is this; anyone can get cancer, but HIV and AIDs are due to either being Gay, a drug addict,  and then sadly through tainted blood transfusions or birth from a mom who has or had it.
Why is more money geared for one over the other and if I'm wrong then someone please explain why Cancer research hasn't found a cure for cancer and I'm not talking about destructive Chemo and radiation, but about meds as easy as it is to take for AIDS. WHY? I knew a guy about twenty years ago who had full blown Aids and he told me his red blood cell count was below 200, but suddenly science came up with a cocktail. I saw him about five years ago at a local community center, working out, healthy looking and happy. He filled out, was smiling and later told me there isn't any trace of AIDs in his body any more.
He lived nineteen more years(still alive) than a friend recently who was told he would have, possibly five years and a year and a half later is gone. What's wrong here? Does it pay to be a promiscuous person who never gave a  thought to transmitting to others, and not pay to be  a solid upstanding young father? What's wrong?

CA 125 TEST for CANCER

We get all kinds of e mails and then say to ourselves, oh that's a good one, have to remember that, yet because of busy lives, we forget. For whatever reason this morning I thought about that test and know I am going to ask for it soon. Why not? CA 125
YOU HAVE TO ASK FOR IT ! Because it's so expensive no one will offer it to you...SO ASK. CALL YOUR OBGYN and say I want to make an appointment to get this test done.   CA 125 I don't know what the protocol is for getting it done, if you have to have cancer in your family or not, but I don't think so. There are a few ways and one is a blood test, one is during your obgyn exam and I don't know the other but this is for women, a way to detect early cancer.

We have cancer cells in us, and what it takes to make them become that enemy within to destroy and take lives is somewhat unknown, but we hear it's how we eat and stress. Change your lives if you can. CA125
Make it a day you'll remember to do once a year. Just do it, get it done and get that UNKNOWN, under the skin worry, gone.

Faith, Beliefs, Food, Kids, Health, God, and Life

Years ago there was a song titled, What's is all about, Alfie? I seem to think about that a lot or maybe it seems that way at times. We all go through periods where we, think deeply about things and then we have the what ifs.
Have you wondered what your life is all about? I do sometimes and talked that over with my son. His comment was, if we think too long about our purpose or what's to be our purpose, we don't enjoy life. That makes sense to me, and I thrive on common sense, yet to be honest I am very impulsive and my lack of financial common sense has gotten me into trouble at times.

Common sense is how I catch kids in lies.  Common send is how I now eat once again, plant based. I started yesterday. A boy moved out of my home Friday and I knew I would go back to Gods way of eating which is plant based, however he also put animals here for our food too. That was a time when pesticides weren't "spread" so wide. This too was a chat with my son, how when I was doing Forks over Knives, I was emotionally happy, and happier each day. But it's pesticides that have to now make me decide what meats I will eat as I love meat and don't want to do without. I will research free range beef.

There is a new reporter who I will look up now, stopping as this is important, BILL CURTIS ! I just remembered.  He even talked about that when he was interviewed about his beef.  He has a ranch in the Midwest where he lets his herd roam free, God's way, which is how it was in the beginning and no I wasn't there. So how would I know you ask? Look into when pesticides came to be. Check out cancers, when were they first know and what population of people have cancer and heart disease LESS than anywhere else. That information you will find in The Blue Zones areas. Look it up.

Look at kids in this generation and a few generations before. What makes them happy or I should ask what makes them think they're happy? Electronics, drugs, money, alcohol, freedom, lack of responsibilities, bullying and more along those lines.

Then look at other kids, kids who eat differently, whose family values are to do for others as you would have them do for you, who have spiritual connections, who do for others, take responsibility, education is important, money is when they work for it, ethics, respect of adults and property, the law, being there for friends, not being part of bullying and they don't have to have name brands and what other kids have. They live within their means and the means of the parents.
So what's it all about Alfie? In that story, the young lady learns it's about love, not money, not all of the things money will get you but love. Love covers everything. If you have love of family and faith, you will respect yourself and others to start with, and from that the other things which have values will follow.
Next time your child asks you about life and why we're here, let them know simply, for each other and to learn.

Cancer, Kids, Food and Chemo

I have to start this by mentioning kids. Why do kids get cancer? I know, you're think why does anyone get cancer? I want to make as much of this positive. Look at all of the kids at St. Judes hospial for children, so imagine a hospital for kids with cancer? That's a lot of kids, and Thank you Danny Thomas and Marlo Thomas for keeping this hospital free of charge for families.
So is it nature vs. nurture concerning getting cancer at such a young age. When we take into account the surroundings of where and how children grow, how they eat, play and what they live close to, I think how much society has to fight to be aware, learn and educate themselves concerning treatments and prevention, with prevention first.

I do think prevention is possible and while this is just a personal opinion I wonder how many people who get cancer and live in cities live longer than the same people who live in the country, surrounded by views more pleasant, air which is cleaner, more fresh foods, seemingly less stress. I wonder. I would love to see studies done, yet at what cost?

Do you remember hearing about, The Blue Zones?  People who live in the blue zones are less likely to have cancer and less chance of heart disease. Stress is less. This Saturday I am restarting my own life and will try to live the third part of my life as those in the blue zone. I will have removed one serious stressor, and introduce a way of living I started last year, but let that go and brought a stress back into my life.

We can control many stresses, and it's up to our own priorities.  Children should be taught from day one about Blue zone living and live lives as they were meant to be, away from hospitals, away from Chemo, x-rays- and all that stuff that adds to a less happier way of life later on.
Moms and dads, it's never too late. Well I am off to dust off my bike, Saturday, here I come :)

Cancer Helpers-Soup Sor? Graviola Tree

Who do you hear? Who do you listen  to when you have an illness such as cancer? So many who love you will tell you to just listen to the doctor, he or she knows best. All other who also love you but may not be as close like moms & dads, children and spouses will tell you about everything else. So who do you trust and believe? This is your life. If it doesn't hurt does that mean it will help? I don't know.
Today on face book I learned of  a fruit that has lot of hype( true or not it's worth a try) about being a cancer cell killer better than just about anything. I got on the phone, called Whole foods in Philly and a health food store where I live. They never heard of it.  But I bet if I look hard enough I will find it here. Always keep your doctor informed and never let him or her go.
It comes from Brazil and other areas with such climates and grows on a tree called Graviola. On another note every day that I listen o Dr. Oz who is a heart surgeon but open minded about all kinds of treatments for many illnesses. His main two are the Heart and Cancer. He advises what many doctors now advise. EAT, Eat and Eat more Blueberries, Carrots, bright fruits and vegetables and for a while leave meat alone. Go Vegan if you can and meditate.
Keep negative people away from you-far away, as far as it takes to make you able to breath better again.

Mega Millions & The Lottery

You can't win if you don't play. Isn't that the saying to trap people into playing away their much needed every day money? Now we have the mega million up past a half a billion dollars. Maybe someone can bail out the national debt, after our government isn't doing it.
We never think when we play how it all adds up. Some people say, this is my only vice. Well why have a vice at all if that's your only one? Smoking, drinking and gambling seem to be the worst of vices, seem to be. But the we have drugs, sex, porn, shopping, and alcohol. The end result is it costs. It cost money, lives and the destruction of families and self.
My bad habit is I can't stop writing, and uh, I also play the lottery as much as I hate to admit it. I am doing it much less than I used to, aware of where and how money seems to trickle away. I'd also rather spend it on my kids and grandson. Now he is worthwhile for spending and hugging and taking off to just see for a day.
Well I am working on the house, cleaning, arranging and hopefully ripping a carpet out. You know what "they say" An idle mind is the devils' playground, so I have to keep busy, at least occupied in a positive way. Making bags this weekend.
See my on artfire under Doozybags. I hope whoever does win this gross amount does a lot of sharing and giving to worthwhile causes, like St. Jude, Cancer, The Heart Association, churches that help people, neighbors in need and just do good with it. Congrats who ever you end up to be.

There but for the Grace of God go I

I used to wonder many times what Grace meant and only understood when it was said as in the title. More and more it seems I find myself saying, There but for the Grace of God go I.
A few days ago, in a waiting room as I sat by the door, suddenly the door opened and an elderly woman walked in all bent over pushing a cart with wheels and holding a small oxygen tank. Behind her stopped and stood still her husband, no tank, no cart, but bent completly in half holding a cane to assist in his walk.
Quickly, and that's something for me, I moved from my safe seat to as far away as possible, yet hesitating wanting to ask if they wanted help. Usually I would just help, but since the young woman behind the desk only said hello and are you okay over there "Bob" I stayed where I was.She knew them. My thinking was maybe they prefer not to have help and I understood that. It's a matter of pride and dignity. The man was well dressed, slender with a thin moustache, and his little wife, stocky, with short curly hair and fine glasses, wore jeans and a plaid quilted jacket.
He finally, was able to sit without assistance and started to unzip his jacket. Again I felt myself lean over and about to get up, but his wife said, oh honey I'll get that. She wheeled her cart over to him and took zipper and jacket in hand and made it work. I was too slow. They were about late seventies.
All of the time I wondered who drove and at almost the same time I thought-wow, just ya when think ya have problems. But how is it they drive? I figured out too that one disability didn't have anything to do with another. His vision seemed fine, but who knew about anything else? Maybe she drove. I was called in and left within a few minutes as they were called in and as we passed, I had to step aside to let them through. He led, she followed.
Yesterday my daughter and I were in touch off and on as the weather was iffy. She was supposed to come up and we were going out to party with a few kids. There was a birthday to share the day with and get silly. But the weather worries me and I told her stay home. We have plenty of time to get together. We hope and pray that don't we?
She called me later in the afternoon after leaving a friend at the hospital. Her friend a thirty-two year old, young woman was just found to be in stage four cancer. No children but she is married and an only daughter. She is a very large sized young lady. During the last three to four months she was seeing her family doctor who told her the pain she was feeling was Irritable bowel syndrome also known as IBS. Closer to the time he finally sent her for tests said, well maybe it's your gall bladder. She went for tests and is now where she is.
Her name is Jen and she tells my daughter, I don't know how to be brave, all I want to do is cry. My Jenny tells her to be who you are, cry, don't be brave, it's more brave to be who you are and that she will be there for her friend, any time, night or day. Yup, that's what friends are for. Her prognosis isn't good, but Jenny and I talk, and we know as many do sometimes doctors say that when they just don't know, but fight, fight and fight some more. Never ever give up. Again we think as Jenny and I have talked about that phrase-There but for the Grace of God go I.
Shortly after Christmas, my friends son in New York was diagnosed with AML and given possibly five years if they can get him in remission. He is still hospitalized on Chemo, and only thirty-eight years old. Hope is now renewed. His prognosis has changed with doctors saying it is possible for a cure, or permanent remission. There but for the Grace....
Look at all the children who have cancers of all kinds at St. Judes. There but for the Grace of God go I.... Why are we as in the United States not finding cures for these cancers? I don't like to be a doubting Thomas, but look how quickly the US found medicine to keep under control and now even in so many people no signs of HIV and or Aids. Why? Politics.

What Romney should do with his 10,000.

Imagine what we all could do with ten thousand bucks and how easy it is for some to want to bet that amount. Yes it went viral and who is asking, is that how you set an example of what a Christian man is? So here are a few ideas Mitt of what you can do with ten thousand:
    Donate it to St.Jude
Open a small business for kids in crisis-kids would work it, gain self worth with learning business how to's
Donate to Cancer-the American Heart Association
    Donate to the local food
Add more to this list-next time Mitt open your wallet, not your mouth

Unsolicited Mail-You're getting it back! See Bottom

People come on, let's stick together. Let's send it back. Either write on it asap, return to sender/sender unknown, or pack it all up in one envelope and once a month send it to one of those annoying ad companies that send to you. I know, I know, all ya have to do is take your name off a list. Well I am trying, but in the meantime, I continue to get mail from places I never even heard of, and they are getting it back!
The poor mail carriers have to carry all that junk. As "they" say, they're outta be a law. Companies should only be allowed to send to those who they do business with, and not more than one mailing a month. How many times, how many times I say do we have to get mail from a furniture store that says, year end closing, discounts, twenty-percent off after they raised it twenty-five percent, and then get this one...going out of business! So when you go in and ask when they're going out of business, its either, well when the lease is up  or, I think at the end of the year and its only January. Save your money, screw the sales, take yourself on a vacation and spend time with people you want to be with. You should even give it away before selling out to those greedy business owners.( not all) Look at where you can donate it before buying a new sofa:
St. Jude's, The American Heart Aassociation, Cancer, Juvenile Diabetes, Juvenile Arthritis and so many more. Kids are hungry in America,  need health care, dental treatment and so much more, so before you buy into a year end sale, invest in a child.
