Norwegian Day Kilts & Bagpipes

This was over a year ago in Brooklyn NY. Not sure how many bagpipers were Norwegian, but the spirit lies within. Somehow we all enjoy the festivities just like on St. Patty's day.
Those kilts. I just love them, and I saw Sean Connery in his one day during a St. patty's day parade in Central Park. What a pair of legs!
As a kid growing up in Brooklyn there was a guy named Danny,a full blooded Irishman who loved to play his bagpipes on St. Patty's Day and May 17, which is Norwegian Independence day. He even played on days he thought were Holidays that needed a bagpipe player. After a few beers Danny was ready to go. He worse his kilts, such an awesome plaid they were.
He would walk up our block on 56th st. bagpipe at his hip and the music would flow. It was truly beautiful. Danny would stop and say hello, speech a tad bit slurred, and right back to playing without so much of a faltered note.
http://McColganphoto.com You won't see any kilts here, but you will see some wonderful wedding photos, baby photo's and cage fighters pics.
