Dump Flo & her Boss....REnaming Christmas, Child Porn ?

Dump Flo and Her Boss....
In case you didn't know............... Checked Snopes and Truth or Fiction......both verify the donations.
The "Harley Owners Group", the biggest motorcycle club in America, maybe even the world, hasn't found any members that have Progressive Insurance since the word got out about Progressive’s communist affiliations. Their association with George Soros, alone, should bring chills up your back. Oh, you don't know who George Soros is? He finances the Obama progressive affiliations.
Progressive Insurance....Who are they? You've seen and probably smiled at the clever Progressive Insurance TV commercials. Well, as Paul Harvey would say, "You're about to learn the rest of the story".
PROGRESSIVE AUTO INSURANCE
You know their TV commercials, the ones featuring the ditsy actress all dressed in white. What you might not know is that the Chairman of Progressive is Peter Lewis, one of the major funders of leftist causes in America ..
Between 2001 and 2003, Lewis funneled $15 million to the ACLU, the group most responsible for destroying what's left of Americas Judeo-Christian heritage.

Lewis also gave $12.5 million to MoveOn.orghttp://moveon.org/ and America Coming Together, two key propaganda arms of the socialist left.
His funding for these groups was conditional on matching contributions from George Soros, the America-hating socialist who is the chief financier of the Obama political machine. Lewis made a fortune as a result of capitalism, but now finances a progressive movement that threatens to destroy the American free enterprise system that is targeting television shows on Fox News. Peter Lewis is making a fortune off of conservative Americans (who buy his auto insurance) that he then applies to dismantle the very system that made him wealthy. He's banking on no one finding out who he is, so STOP buying Progressive Insurance and pass this information on to all your friends. Chairman Lewis' gift helps the ACLU promote their anti-Christmas agenda such as:
§ Removing nativity scenes from public property

§ Banning songs such as Silent Night from schools

§ Refusing to allow students to write about the Christian aspect of Christmas in school projects

§ Renaming Christmas break Winter break

§ Refusing to allow a city sponsored Christmas parade to be called a Christmas parade

§ Not allowing a Christmas tree in a public school

§ Renaming a Christmas tree displayed on public property a Holiday tree In addition to their war on Christmas, the ACLU uses gifts like that from Chairman Lewis to:

§ Sue states to force them to legalize homosexual marriage

§ Force libraries to remove porn filters from their computers

§ Sue the Boy Scouts to force them to accept homosexuals as scout leaders

§ Help legalize child pornography

§ Legalize live sex acts in bars in Oregon

§ Protect the North American Man Boy Love Association whose motto is "sex by eight or it is too late"

§ Censor student led prayer at graduation

§ Remove "under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance

§ Remove "In God We Trust" on our currency

Verify at:
http://www.snopes.com/politics/business/peterlewis.asp

or: http://www.truthorfiction.com/rumors/a/aclu-lewis.htm

All of a sudden I don't care for their "funny commercials".

New Pesticide Laws in Your State-POT!

You are now eating fruits and vegetables with pesticides ( as always) unless you are eating organic. Hopefully you know the trail from where your food comes from. Laws are changing in every state about Pesticides. Check it out, look it up, become informed. Do you know what you are feeding your children ?
Recently a law was passed that pesticides can be used on medical marijuana. Now, does that make sense ?
Get to know people more and see how you can grow a small garden if for only one vegetable, pesticide. I have a big enough space and don't grow anything. Hypocrite ? Well.... I can't be out in the heat and sun moving around. But now I am meeting some new people and if here next year will use half of my property for a community garden and now know a good way to spread the word.

Eat well, live well and be happy.

The"Sister"hood of the Catholic Church

What is the Vatican afraid of, trying to put Nuns in their place and keeping them down ? While I am not Catholic I see it as the people in power in the church are men and the women, Nuns do all of the Physical work, well most of it. I have seen Nuns nurse, clean, cook, serve, wash floors, take care of the sick, collect money in subways and take orders from Priests.
"Nuns on a Bus" is a group of Nun fighting for equality, a very large group. Recently the nun who is  a big part of this was called to Rome as what she is doing and what other nuns are doing is called a CRISIS by the church. The head priest in an interview tonight said yes it is a crisis. Imagine a crisis because nuns are fighting for equality and will not obey too much longer orders from men. In her good sense of humor the Nun who is leading this stated, haven't we always had problems with men? That's reality, but in this Church, the Catholic church women who signed up to do it all agreed to obey God.
After all, if the Nuns were equal, who would do all the dirty work ? Now I know I am not educated in the Catholic church and am not knocking the church itself, only the fact that they want to keep women "in their place". As a nun stated in this interview, "we signed on to obey God, not man". These ladies are banding together as women, as women who serve, as women who love God and want to be able to continue to do so, but as they choose, to also be equal in serving as priests are, to stand in a pulpit and preach, to baptize and all thing that their male counterpart does.
Think about this, can the priests do what the nuns do in every sense? Sure why not? But look more often at the hands of nuns and then look at the hands of the priests ! Who is really working harder ? I wonder too who is being paid more and who has more benefits ? That wasn't even mentioned-unless I missed it.

Your Age X Good Deeds, a Big Wow

This isn't my idea but a great one it is. Yesterday on a drive home, I heard on my favorite radio station, a story about a guy aged thirty-two who is doing good deeds according to his age. What a great idea!
So I decided to do the same. With my age however this will be ongoing until the years end-ouch. A nice thing to look forward to, I hope to pass it on as it has been passed on to me. So how about you? How many good deeds can you do and it doesn't have to be about money. There are any worthwhile deeds which are cost free, so get started. I am doing my first one today. No brag, just fact :)

Jesus IS on Facebook...

Well how do you know He isn't ? If you believe, He is everywhere and imagine if He is reading everything we post, language, slutty stuff (sorry God) and all the crap (sorry God-again) we put out there. But there is also so much good and great stuff we post, good news, kid news, new born babies-nothing like that-and we send prayers for those we love and even those we don't. Maybe if we did pray more for those we don't love, we' turn life around.
How did we forget Onward Christian Soldiers? To me that says it all if we are Christians, believers in God and what He means. No matter, a Jew, a Christian, and any other faith, if that faith is about doing goodness and believing then Onward Christian Soldiers we are.
To me that means a Christian soldier doesn't have to talk it-but you do have to walk and live it. I know a man who I never knew. By that I mean he just was a guy, some guy, a neighbor, a friend,(kind of) a husband and father, but I didn't really know him in depth and no reason to, except if I needed someone to act as a friend, he would be there, he was there and showed me others as good and as nice as he, but they talked the talk and walked the walk. For me when a person is too preachy I wonder, is there a catch. There wasn't.
I trust more people, who do, just do without the preachy part. Unless I ask of course. This guy was like another who I knew as a kid. He walked the walk, showed by example and spoke quietly. Honest, integrity and character. I loved that man, still do. I think about Jesus and that man as I know this other person, and see in His likeness, those two men.
So now when you post on face book, think about what you write, and I will too. By the way, I don't know why I wrote this tonight, but Jesus comes to us at all kinds of times. That makes me wonder who knocked so softly on my door yesterday. I didn't answer, so maybe tonight He came to me about face book.
Pleasant Dreams.

Dr. Tom Getz, Penn State York Pa.

Suddenly I found myself analyzing the English language on TV. People say things like, there wasn't no one on the street and right away I find myself mentally correcting, there wasn't anyone on the street. I do this so often I make myself nuts. All due to taking an English class with Dr. Getz, well it ended I took five English classes, three with him and two with other professors. He was/is a man with patience and kindness and taught me so much I only wanted to keep learning, even now.
Once you learn how to speak correctly, at least this is how it is with me, I correct everyone and self correct. I hear people say things like, he needs self esteem for himself AAH ! Can they hear themselves ? So if I do this, what does an English professor do and or think when he or she hears people murder the English language.
Even my son and I got into it, but finally agreed to call it quits. I don't like arguing unless it's something I am overly passionate about. That means kids, and a  few great people I knew and know.
In the end I am better off just watching old shows about Brooklyn. I get what I expect and it seems normal...yet I still mentally correct. Then I tell myself to just shut-up. Thank you Dr. Getz for everything it's worth you gave me more than you know. I did keep writing as you suggested I do. One day...

Save MONEY with "TIMEBANKING" Self Worth

I know I already posted about this, but have to add a few things also about being an economical person. RECYCLE at Best BUY-FREE. They will take your old TV's up to 32 inches free and recycle. They will also take your PC's and remove the hard drive while you wait.

I just saw this as it was tweeted to me, by way of Danielle Dellorto and thought it was a good reminder. Remember what made you happy before everyone started defining you. Now that's a good one !

Okay Time banking. Please research it. Most states and many cities and towns now have time banking. Remember the hippie generation when the older folks made fun of them? Possibly some jealousy there? I think they had a lot of life right. They shared and helped with each others kids, gardens, needs and troubles, and they celebrated the good and mourned the not so good. Sure we remember all the free sex but isn't that the same topic being talked about just about everywhere today?
With Time Banking it's strangers and also people who know each other or about each other, who are there to help each other, the way things are meant to be. So take any money you may have set aside for some repair job and just save it, or donate it to a good charity.
There is also something now growing called Little Free Libraries. No fines. Imagine an idea without always digging in your pocket because time got away from you. Books are the greatest gifts we have to share with children. You can take a book or books, return or not, but please replace with another book or books. Yes, it is that simple and generous. These are all good hearted people who don't have it in mind to see what they can get, but what they can give and when that principle applies to us all-just imagine the outcome. What can you give? We all have worth.

Freakin kool-DIY BIke Wall Hanger !

I am searching on a best way to hang my bike in my room. Doing a lot of room changing , getting rid of electronics and wooden hobby signs, feels so good to have more space. So I found this site. Please check it out.

You do have to have some knowledge of tools but it is mainly made from an old bicycle handle, turned upside down which makes it a very secure and firm place to hang your bike. I have one big hook and hope that works. Will let you know in a few days, after more rearranging.

So here it is. Look up KYLE WILSON DIY wall bike hangar. It pops up on a first page in yahoo. Happy Biking...oh the pic is kool. He has his hanging right smack in the middle of a double window, like art.

Where/Who is Antonio Santiago's President

When Obama stood up, weather pressured or not as Tavis Smiley stated, the fact is he did stand up for Trayvon Martin. That's fine, but why didn't he stand up also for baby Antonio Santiago? Is this because its his last term in office? Everyone has an opinion and I'm no different. Why didn't he individually stand up for each and everyone who is murdered in this country every day. He chose this teen as a black representation of wrongdoing by a Peurto Rican. IF he didn't would his constituents support him after office in any manner he chooses to pursue? Did he really say what he felt? I doubt it.
But imagine if every time a killing happened and whatever race was the injured party, that race rioted, protested, got so called reverends (Sharptonw/ Tawana Brawley) involved. Yeah that's who you want. Why aren't we looking deep enough into cause and justice? How come the justice system sets OJ free for murder but two kids who shoot a baby in the face killing him get to serve a term in jail with all of the tax payers money supporting them up the wazoo.
Sure it's the jury. They are afraid of riots in many cases and places. With Zimmerman they probably thought, well he's not white so this is different. Sure is. Obama got involved, but poor Baby Santiago wasn't worth an acknowledgement of Obama. Zimmerman should have been arrested for disobeying a police order at the scene. If he obeyed, that kid would be alive today.
Obama, stand up for Antonio Santiago !

Crossing Lines= Over Ugly ?

Okay so what is it the producers and directors were trying to do when they cast these people?  Or did they find a whole bunch of pretty and dip some in the Ugly pool ? I know we get tired of people who look so beautiful, they almost look fake, but this is so opposite. Yes, I am jealous. I'm not even in between !
Tonight when I turned it on, one guy has a nose that looks like he was smacked in the middle with an axe, sliced right down the middle. Donald Sutherland is the best looking most average of the bunch and he has to be about ninety eight years-old.
The people who are average looking...well ya can't understand a word they say.
Maybe this is show about who can try to watch and listen the longest. When you put the two together, I for one, get out my foreign language dictionaries and some modeling magazines and just pretend. That is if I'm bored enough. Yup, they sure crossed lines here.
Hey people...just a sense of humor....reaching for the remote.

Free Exchange of Community Help, Time Banking

The word FREE usually engages people more often than not. Tonight I was introduced to this great product of human decency. As I sat and listened in a small meeting house room, people were filled with ideas and questions. These Time Banks are all over and unknown to many like myself.
Where else can you put yourself in as a deposit and withdraw someone else without penalty but with human profit. If you believe in God, I believe this is what He knows we were always meant to do.
Anytime we need a service the first thing we worry about is cost and honesty. This is a no cost, but an exchange of the best of you. The human factor. Remember years ago when neighbor helped neighbor? Somehow we lost the way and yes I know personally there are very good people out there and here who are more than willing to give, to freely help. But the cycle of giving and taking pays off, always!
Try giving first, Join a Time Bank in your area. Ask your church or school if they are aware of Time Banks. It's an investment that yields a higher rate of return than any Stone building will give you. Go to a health food store. Chances they are aware of Time Banks. Seek and ye shall find.
Here are a few ways to contact Time Banks
timebanks.org
in Allentown Pa.  tdn.timebanks.org   They are in most states. You'll be glad you did and by the way this is a perfect way to set an example for your children. Now, go do some good.

This took place tonight in York County PA.

Work Hours vs. That DS kids Gift, see bottom

Some years ago close to Christmas I met a woman who invited me over to her home. I had a chance to see another side of life at Christmas time. They were far from rich but well financially preserved. They gave their fourteen year old child one gift for Christmas. The same for birthdays. I heard it all before, why should we spend what we work so very hard for and have it gone because of one day of the year ? They were right, yet I have a hard time because of being raised so differently.
Then with my own children, I always had a big Christmas, so how do I change now ? I don't unless of course as I get older and finances aren't what they once were, well you get my drift.
Back to these people. They are foster parents. The gift was seventy dollars. The boy was very happy for a little while, but then it was, I just got one gift. Well that's the problem with being raised in many different foster homes. I'm not too sure what I'm getting at here, except don't spend your hard earned money on these very expensive electronics.
If you want your child to have it, please make them earn and save for it. I've seen it. They take better care of things when they buy them with money they worked for. It's somehow different when you worked for it. The past few generations are not like many years ago.
Detention centers are filled with kids who won't listen, filled with them. Residential centers are exploding all over the united States with kids who won't listen, think they should have because they want. Psych hospitals again, are filled with kids, locked in, all locked in because of so many mental health issues. WHY ???

Time Bank exchange for Services

When I received a note about this meeting I said well, uh, maybe, so I e -mailed the person back and let her know I will think about going that this sounds good. Oh boy, the next day she sent an invite to go with her.
Nooo, that means I have to commit. I do not like to commit, but hesitantly I thought if I do, that means I go and just might learn a few things. All in all I love the idea. You donate a few hours a week or month pertaining to your skills or you list a skill and what you need in exchange. Sometimes, or most times you don't have to exchange at all. If you give three hours to someone, someone else will give you three hours. NO MONEY! Unless of course parts are involved like fixing my dryer.
These are old fashioned people, but not necessarily old. Remember the hippies? They took care of one another, met each others needs. Many churches are like that, so hey, in a way you'd be going to church once a week, doing in the name of Jesus or ?
That money you just saved? Put it away. The time you just gave ? Figure out what it would cost and save it-if you can. Imagine every car inspection only adding up to the service charges because some person repaired everything and in turn you cleaned a home, watch kids and made meals for a week and heck, cleaned their car too. But it's all about time, give, take and managing.
I'm all for it. I bet you have skills you forgot all about. Why not try it in your area ?

Zimmerman and Justice? Now the gov't is involved...

First I have to admit, I like most do not know or understand the law. With this case I am on the fence only because I don't know the truth. I have been sent e mails of Trayvon Martin not looking at all like the pictures which have been made constantly public, in a hooded sweatshirt, looking like an average cute fourteen or fifteen year old. In the photos I received, unless doctored it was Trayvon at seventeen, working out and physically the size of a well built man.
So what's true?
The only thing I know to be true, to be a fact, is part of a conversation between the police and Zimmerman. In that the police told Zimmerman to stop and go back , do not approach. So in that situation at that moment, Zimmerman decided, his ego decided, not to obey the police. He should have in my opinion, been arrested at the scene as he did indeed cause the death by disobeying the police. If he obeyed, that kid would still be alive.

So now we have a jury-of peers? Didn't look like that to me, six women? Again I don't know how the system works so why not a jury of twelve? But these were not his peers and why didn't the prosecution fight for a jury of more diversity, at the least a few men?

Finally, now we have government involvement. WHY???? Don't they trust the  justice system? What does this tell us. It yells, it doesn't matter how a jury finds because if the govt wants to get in it and try to change things they will. Why didn't they get involved with the OJ trial and or any since. Maybe this is about race, but with a different spin on it. We better look at every killing and make sure we get it right or the govt will get involved, as they have shown we can't trust our jurors to get it right.
So while he was found not guilty, in my opinion he is guilty of a wrongful death, again, because he disobeyed the police.

Restaurant Food/s? Roach Salad ?

I love eating out as much as the next person, but I have become more choosy, even at that we don't really know what goes on in the kitchen. A good example is a TV show, Kitchen Nightmares. Sure some may be for show, but I doubt most is. Who would want the public to know you have mold on your refrigerated foods and that frozen foods are freezer burnt? Slime on your favorite fish ? Lovely.
Years ago my son worked at a popular so call Italian eatery. Frequently a manager would ask me to let him work later to clean up. Okay, that's good. They were cleaning, but they were doing an extra good job because the exterminators come by after the place closes, so no one knows about all the roaches and bugs they have.
Just be a bit more picky and save your self some money and aggravation in the long run. If it's a night you just don't have it in you to cook, that's the night you really don't go out. Why? Because you're usually too tired to be picky, so do a help yourself night. PB&J sandwiches, eggs, cereal, anything better than roach salad.
     Have fun:)

Electric Co.Finance's Tree Service-no int!!!

People, ya gotta sign up for this one and it isn't one of those too good to be true deals. It's a real deal. I have close to 3000. worth of tree service that needs attention, huge overgrown Norwegian Spruce's and an area that started out as one tree, now if cleared I could put a two car garage in-of course if I had the money, but it will give me extra parking space, picnic tables, sitting area, a hammock, whatever, or nothing but a nice clearing which adds to my property value.
Here is how you do it. First call your electric company if you don't live in York PA. Or if you have MET-ED, FIRST ENERGY, and there is one more, but not Adams Electric.;  OR Get in touch with Randy, Relaxr663@Netscape  He has all of the info and more.
Here is how it works: Met Ed for example will finance up to three thousand dollars of tree services for thirty-six month (36) if you are on positive terms. So they add a payment to your already existing monthly bill. I don't know if that has anything to do with being on a budget, but this is definitely a program worth checking into.
Randy came to my home today, a Saturday, which worked for me as I really wanted an estimate so I have an idea of what to work with. He showed up, was efficient, polite and filled with information about this Electric program. He even had forms ready if I wanted to sign so as not to hold anything up, but would also be void if I am not eligible.
You Can even call Randy's Cell 717-793-0352
Thanks, You won't be sorry

Make it Count Today !!!

I know you may have heard this many times before, but if most people would buy one American made product today, that would hit big businesses who send work overseas, a good old fashioned kick in the ass. We need reminders about products, prices and buying American.
Take another look at the footwear on your children's feet. Look up where it's made and who do you think is making it.  Mainly kids and women in China, for about fifty cents a day. I don't even want to mention the names of products giving them free advertisement. Anyway how much do those sneakers cost? 89.95 and up? No wonder the small family businesses have disappeared.
Please, go on-line, look up American made sneakers, tee shirts jeans etc. I know you may be in for a shock in the price tags, but seriously look at the price tag we put on ourselves by buying from that big W store aka Chinatown.

Here is what you get when you buy American made products:
  • Better service
  • American products by Americans
  • Better products
  • keeping American money in America
  • true fair trade practices
  • saving jobs of the American worker
  • saving homes and property of Americans
  • and if you have a problem with an American made product, you can call to speak with an American in America who speaks English!

Jonathan, Love that Voice !

America's Got Talent-again in this young man and his voice. At age twenty he has the voice of a well-seasoned opera singer. In Italian he sang a song which brings chills to any music lover. Although his story is sad, telling the public his parents threw him out at age eighteen because he's gay, now not as sad  as he stood there, proud with a voice to show he has a future. As far as his story goes, who knows.
I 've heard all my life there are two sides and yes there are two sides, but that doesn't always mean because the parents put on a good public face and image that terrors aren't happening behind closed doors. Yes I am aware it can also be out of control children too. No one really knows except the people involved.
So Jonathan, good for you. It takes a lot of guts to go on a stage with million viewers and if you're a stand up guy in your every day life, I hope you  succeed ! I for one would definitely buy your record, gay or not :) BTW, a couple of days ago, another young man, also gay, came out and brilliantly sang opera. I only have one question, what does being gay have to do with singing ?

South Western Reg. Police York County Pa.

Today I brought a young boy, just a new teen over to meet some officers of this fine police department. I already knew just how good they were, and I knew how well they did and do their job as I have had them to my home many times over the last twelve or more years.
I made this appointment ahead of time and Sergeant J. Stalcup returned a message with  what basically meant, happy to help. Many kids who I work with have an attitude that the police are there just to bother them, and that's usually because the kids bring it on themselves. Never have I known an officer to just harass a kid. It's more like to help a kid, especially children with preconceived notions.
Through all walks of their lives children meet the police in sad situations and it easier to blame the unfortunate officer coming into that situation rather than those who cause it.

This visit today, Sergeant Stalcup invited my little teen into a small room, and if I wanted to I was allowed to go in but I decided this kiddo needed to see, learn and listen first hand what areal man is like, what a police officer is like, man or woman. Officer Stalcup, after speaking with this child, returned to where I was, just outside the little room and gave us a tour. This kid had a dozen questions out of his mouth before the officer could say hello, yet patience on the officers part was obvious to me as an adult and as a parent, but also as someone who works with children, mainly boys.
Sergeant Stalcup  during this tour introduced us to two other officers, one whom I again forgot her name (sorry) and the other officer, Officer Harrison who I also knew from coming to my home.  I remember his stance, his kindnesses and his way that silently said, it's okay, I'm here now. There is also a look of compassion. This was definitely a trip down memory lane. While this was my first tour, this was not my first time at South, Western Regional Police Dept. Yes, kids. However anytime any officer came in contact with any child I worked with, that officer, those officers came with respect, patience kindness and experience. Within that they brought character and integrity.
This tour with Sergeant Stalcup was more than a tour, it was an invitation to the future for a child who previously may have thought he would never want to be a cop, an officer of the law as his very, very young memories which I cant go into are very different than many.  Stalcup spoke to him like a mentor, a friend, an authority figure and teacher. He did indeed teach this little guy a lot today. He taught and showed him the workings of what it takes to keep a community safe. He made eye contact, shook hands, and made him feel he counted. After all isn't that what most of us need?
At the end, after a  feeling of a puffed up chest by making the car siren go off, turning on the lights, using the loudspeaker and more questions and answers, we headed on our way. In the car I asked this child if he thought differently now of the police. He said, oh I told him I never blamed them-sure. But with more in depth conversation I asked him if he honestly felt like he saw another side of the police officer at work as he was used to. Well he grinned a little and talked about all he saw, but more important all that he heard and he said, yeah, I really like that.
So to the South Western Regional Police department, I thank you for opening your doors and hearts, giving in ways that many don't know about, all of the time and times your officers take at my home to talk to kids. As sad as that is in a way, I am thankful it's you at SWRPD who do come to my home when needed. Each time you leave, every single child has said the very same thing, Hey that cop was pretty cool! Ya know what Stalcup, Harrison, Greene, Matthews,  and on and on, you are all kool !
    Thanks,
    Nancy

James Braden

I can't believe it-I may have forgotten his name. As my PC was loading so I could blog about this sensational Chicago talent, his name seeped from this thing I call a brain. I can tell you during the introduction, behind the scenes, he told of being a Gay make who his parents pray every day, more so his mom, that he change.
I can say, once this thirty-four year old opened his mouth, I knew this is the way God made him. I never thought about a person being gay from that perspective, but now, thinking about this and the pain he endures with his parents, their faith, prayers, how could they possibly say God only created that voice but not his sexuality. Maybe creating it is a wrong word, and I will simply say God created this whole man. America has talent-in James Braden and should I be lax in his name I will come back, erase and redo and apologize, because he deserves it.
