Schools, Vans and Educational Discipline

Supposedly you're not to complain unless you have the solution. That's an easy way out for those who aren't doing what can be done to say...see, we told you so.
What do you do with a kid on a van who doesn't behave and is destructive? You discipline him or her, but you don't reward them by giving them what they want, a seat where ever they want. So you make adjustments. If this kid is destructive and you are saying it's a safety issue, then pick that kid up last and sit him or her between two big kids. Lets see them destroy property then. Peer influence is a big thing. We can't spank, are afraid to raises our voices but as drivers do want to be a kids best buddy. Bullshit!!!!
Why is it kids cannot be disciplined ? What are adults afraid of? Why aren't adults, adults?
I Know what a touchy issue this is because most parents work outside of the home and can't start driving kids to school.. This is taxpayer money and the answers they have is, well this is a safety issue, so let's just give him or her what they want. How about an old fashioned spanking instead?
Kids who behave like this are bullies and cowards afraid to face in life whats needed. I have seen teachers attacked in school and they are not allowed to hit a student back. BULLSHIT again! Knock that kid on his or her ass, but good. We send this message every day. Okay kids, you can push, shove, hit, punch, spit at a teacher because you cowardly son of a bitch know-"they can't touch me". As you murmur that inside your head and as you are getting away with this garbage, remember the day will come-when you won't.

Schools & The Teachers Within

With so many disorders with children how do we know who is telling us correctly or not? I know a child who is labeled autism because the doctor wasn't sure what to put down. He isn't retarded, but he is developmentally delayed by about five years and he does have serious anger issues to the point of property destruction. Of course he's not afraid to destroy things because adults are not allowed to hand out a good old fashioned spanking. Seriously neglected and very small for his age he is such a sweet kid-until. Until he refuses to do what's told such as work in school, so how do we handle these kinds of children who by the age of fourteen are so much out of control, they graduate to throwing desks and chairs, cursing at teachers, walking out of classrooms to play their games.
School and the teachers within take so much crap from these kids and they get together too just as we adults do to see what works and what doesn't, but with the kids, it's more about, how much can I get away with before I'm transferred or have to move and lose friends? So with all of the labels they have, how is it they are smart enough to know just how far to push? Because the labels are BS!!!
Those type of kids will not push just anyone around and cross boundaries, but only the adults they know well, such as teachers and parents because they are also cowards. They know if they pull the same crap with a male stranger, that guy will put him against a wall and smack his cowardly face into oblivion.
So what do we do when they are so young, really young and start out causing problems in school ? You give them problems at home. You lean hard on them, as hard as you can without making yourself sick. Take away toys, no video games at all until the school year ends. No treats, no outings and yes I know this punishes the parent too and anyone else who lives in the house, but the child has to grasp at some point, NO excuses for bad behavior. I'll close with that.

Bouncing Boot Camp & Shark Tank

Tonight on Shark tank a young guy came on with three kids ready to show his, "boot camp". The sharks weren't interested for a few reasons, but I hope this guy ends up selling to schools, community centers, pre-schools and summer sports camps.
You who have money to invest, check this guy out and his product. Even the sharks jumped in and had a ball so imagine kids doing the same. Helps with overweight kids, pre diabetes and hey Jack! How about senior centers???

Greenhouses in Schools-an Answer

A year ago I asked the local schools why they don't have gardens which would be used well for kids who want to learn culinary art or gardening and even social work. I was told because we don't have summer school so no one to attend any gardens.
My idea is to start building Greenhouses at schools. If they have so much money to build many outdoor stadiums for football, and scholarships for sports, why not take some of that money and build a healthy future? An academic school could also work with a vocational school in the building process. In addition I know places such as Lowe's and Home Depot give donations and or charge a lesser amount for supplies.
Let students who want to go into architecture put their time and value ie. credits into these projects.Get some of those fat coaches into these projects. Let's go AMERICA. BUILD GREENHOUSES IN SCHOOLS. This could also be a use for community gardens. Older people and people who love gardening would love to volunteer. Yes, I know everyone needs background checks, and that's fine. But look at it this way. Community building is about people building . Let the young learn from the old and the old from the young.
This can be done. It can improve community relationships and school finances at the same time. I know my school district has a lot of property they don't use, they just mow.(talk about waste) Start now. Go to your school and ask why not. Junk out, happy bodies in. Happy bodies are healthy bodies.
One last thought. This seems off the topic but it isn't. There are many so called "different" kids in school who are bullied because they are so different. Do you know what kind of talents those kids have. Let them hang out in the gardens with the poplar kids. See who learns from whom and mix it up with good adults and what do you have? The best and healthiest salad you can ever imagine!
