Jelly Beans? Did they grow in the Jelly Bean Forest? A Movie?

Can you Imagine a huge Jelly Bean Tree that has a big mouth that opens so children can sit? This one does. That is my favorite picture of all and it's very hard to decide. No that tree isn't shown. Sorry I am not good at taking pictures, but see for yourself at doozybags.etsy.com
This wonderful, and happy little book is only 8.95
Just think about this as a children movie...all Imagination, wonderful imagination.

The Jelly Bean Forest Children's Book

This great little book, story, has a coloring book inside of The Jelly Bean Forest as well as The Jelly Bean Jerk Dance song. Made just short enough for little ones to remember. The story is surprising, happy, a tiny bit sad but surprising, and so colorful. Also the art work was done by a fifteen year old boy in Norway, my very young cousin Tom Kastet.  I promise you, children will love this. It can be purchased from Etsy/Doozybags is the name to see.

What Station is Jesus On ?

What Station is Jesus On?

As I sat and watched TV

I saw a figure, familiar to me

But then I switched from that  station

And listened to a conversation

As I passed by the image

I noticed Jesus standing there

But again I changed the station

Thinking without a care

Once again I went back to see

 What I thought I saw

He was waiting again for me

Knowing I’d open the door

It happened to be a station

And sometimes it was a tree

But the most important thing I knew

 He is there for me.

Jesus can be anywhere

And it seems He really is

So never turn your back on Him

But change your station to His.

The Eve of Chrstmas Eve....looking for a tree

      Looking For a Tree

Driving here, up and down
East to West both sides of town
Looking for a tree just right
not to be found, out of sight.

Stopping once and once again
I looked for a tree and a stand
but not to be found here or there
I was ready to pull out my hair.

At last I found a store with trees
not much taller than my knees
but good enough it would be
for a family Christmas tree.

I took it home, and let it rest
while I cleaned, did my best
I  set it up in my old stand
but it leaned both East, then West.

We left today, went on a search
for a new stand my tree could perch
Took an hour then two more
until the stand was found and more.

We bought hot chocolate gifts cards too
some for us and some for you
trimmed the tree all day long
and sang the best Christmas songs.

I'll not wait for the Eve of Eve again
to find my needs like a Christmas tree stand
I'll start right now to buy galore
and stay away from a Christmas store.
